After seeing the recent 1:1's I want no part of that line.. I'll be happy w/ the older quality 1:1's I own.

I like this LSB and wouldnt mind owning one. However I'll wait for the reviews when In Hand. You never know if SS will decide to cut corners in paint and quality. So far looks good.

Iron/BiB Spider-Man is still much closer to 1/4 scale than 1/5 scale (I'd still classify it as 1/4). He fits in well with my premium formats. 1/5 scale size would be closer to something like the Magneto comiquette which is noticeably not in the same scale as premium formats.

Sideshow employs a variety of people to sculpt their statutes so it would be difficult to have each statue 100% consistent to official Marvel stats. Heck not even Marvel stays to their official stats in the comics so I think it is a bit much to expect Sideshow to exactly follow Marvel's official stats. I think an error of 0.5 inches is acceptable and the pose can hide it as well.

I agree with you. Besides, at 5'6, that indeed is Parker's height, or pretty darn close. Remember he is supposed to be a small dude.

I really like this piece. A Rhino 1:1 bust would sick. Cool looking Character.

Yes, I would love that. I am a little hesitant though after getting the 1:1 Hulk bust ... . That had so much potential for such a great character.

Looks great but alittle pricey for an LSB. They should have posed the Spidey LSB next to this. I can only imagine what the comiquette is going to cost.

Why such a high price? $100 more than a typical LSB, and even $50 more than an extremely detailed and tall LSB like Galactus.

I don't get it??

Yeah and they are charging more for the EX. The EX was priced the same as the regular prior to this. I guess this will have a super low ES. Rhino is probably the least popular character out of all the LSBs released so far and they have to offset that with a higher price.

I would have thought Rhino was more popular than Apocalypse or Galactus as characters.

I really doubt that. Rhino is like a C-list Spider-Man villain. Apocalypse is definitely an A-list X-Men villain. I don't really follow Galactus but I'd say he is B/B+.

Apocalypse is an A rated character? Not doubting you as I haven't read Xmen comics lately.

I'm pretty sure he is an A-list villain in the X-Men comics. I mean next to Magneto there aren't that many foes that the X-Men consistently do battle with. Isn't he like the 1st mutant ever born. I haven't been keeping up with the comics either so maybe some X-Men fans can keep us up-to-date

Definitely can't say that about the Rhino who hasn't done anything spectacular in the comics. He seems like a Hulk or Juggernaut type character but just not in the same class. Sorry Rhino fans.

OK where's the link to the new pics and price, can't find them on the site and i'm starting to think someones pulling a fast one..:impatient:

I was planning to get this,it looks great but i refuse to pay that price for a LSB. I think i'll be waiting for the Comiquette.

How on God's green earth is this $50 more than Galactus?! I mean Rhi-freakin-no?! EVEN if the character was a-lister, there is no way this should cost more than the galactus.
