Yeah, those would have been great as well. I was hoping for a Mini Dol Guldur personally. Now I have to dread the inevitable release of a $$$, 300 piece edition size, mega-environment.

Yeah, I think that's more of a larger scale environment. Would be one I'd probably have to get.

They could of easily given a $40 Weta Hobbit Hole of Bilbo's place with a blue "f" rune on his green door in the gift set...I thought maybe...

This is a beautiful The Hobbit AUJ Extended Edition Collectors' Set! I really do hope that this is true and this is the collectible and packaging we're gonna get. If this is legit, it will be like going back in the days of the LOTR Extended Editions Gift Sets which for me were so great! Personally, I don't really mind the name plate; I am drawn into that iconic scene leading to the Riddles in the Dark scene. Now, where can we pre-order this?

“Riddles in the Dark” was sculpted by Gary Hunt from Weta Workshop. Gary is part of the wider Weta team who worked on the film. The figurine is approximately 2.07 lbs. Size: 8” wide, 5.25” deep and 7” tall. The outer giftset box is illustrated by the film’s concept artists Alan Lee and John Howe.

I admit I was kind hoping for the two giant Dwarven guard statues in front of Erebor. I didn't think they would do something like this to be honest but I agree this is pretty much a perfect choice.

It looks to be in same scale as Frodo/Gollum and Sam/Frodo Dio or real close to it...I think

I'm thinking much the same, which will be great, since I own both of those.

So this was the set I always wanted, now just got to wait till November.

No word yet on price? I read somewhere that the Blu set (which also includes 3D Blu and ever useless Ultraviolet discs) should be clocking in at about $55 US on its own. I would think the statue would add at least $40 or $50 to that number ...
