Rewatched it.
Beautifully crafted, Scott can do these movies Ith his eyes closed.
But its uninteresting. Damon character has no arc, You never fear for him.
Save for the alien part MISSION2MARS was more intense than this (the eva suit scene alone).
No heart, no guts, no glory.
Funniest moment, seeing a skinny body double then cut to a well nourrished Matt Damon getting in his suit...

It's a great crowd-pleaser of a movie.
As olbertfrog pointed out, it is beautifully crafted and executed, but nothing to write home about.

I agree- nicely made- great visuals but I didn't care for it as much as I tried to..one watch and I'm satisfied- no need to see it again. Why it was so praised I don't get it
