The problem is, i already preordered with sideshow the ex, i gave a nrd and 1 flex month payment. I think its to late for me to change. You think sideshow could change my flex and nrd to something else on their site? Dont think so.

The fact that the ex has not sold out on this may prove that open ES on the very large and expensive pieces isn't a big deal. They aren't going to sell many anyways.

Fortunately I cured myself of my addiction to exclusives so I was able to save cash by ordering from a retailer and saving a good chunk of cash. In this case the blade wasn't something I had to have.

The problem is that we see the sword from only one angle on the SS exclusives pics. Maybe the sword is a real must from different angles. But we can't tell until the release in February.

It may look great but I still wouldn't say it's a must, for me at least.

Beign in canada I don't really get retailers with significant discounts. If I did I would totally skip the ex as it is by no means "a must" and anyone telling you otherwise is trying to justify their purchase.

Based on the pics, I prefer the reaching hand as well. I'll have to see the sword in person to really decide. I think it would have looked cool to have the sword raised. Either way just a couple more months to wait.

I guess I shouldn't have said "cured". I still get the shakes but I can calm myself before pressing the order button and make the right call.

If there's only a little difference in cost between an exclusive and the regular I'll still always get the exclusive direct from Sideshow, but when you're talking $100+ dollars and the exclusive isn't special, I'll go with the regular.

They convert sauron from limited edition to a edition number of 1500.
I hope they do the same with this one. It will help to increase the sales.
