I had some flaws too, had to destroy him and got a complete new EX, so there exist 498 EX now (saw another one destroyed too).

I noticed the low quantity in the news letter as well. That's great for this piece, especially at it's price. It goes to show that people will pay a premium for quality and there's no shortage of it in this guy.
I wonder how many regulars there are?

I would like to know this also, seems like it must be under 1000 as it did not take long after the EX sold out for the regular to go.

I thought there was no ES on the regular Dark Rider PF and now it is almost sold out? Is this normal for SSC?

It's hit and miss at the moment. The Wolf LSF sold out when it shipped and never came back in stock. Wolverine LSF went to low quantity alert and we were warned that there would be no more made and then 60 more magically showed up. It doesn't help that SS is in no way honest about such things, which is a shame since their lying about waitlists and lines selling out puts a blight on their rep.

It says limited edition, does that mean they don't have a specific ES? Maybe there is just 25 left in stock until the next batch, that would be some BS.

Don't take this the wrong way, but IMHO the management at SS doesn't loose a wink of sleep worrying about a "blight on their rep".

SS is the 800lb gorilla in the collectible market...and they know it. Besides, why worry about the consequences of their rep when they know all the people complaining about SS" lying about wait lists" will buy their products regardless??

When all of the anger regarding how SS manages their wait list results in a significant loss of revenues...SS may begin worrying about their rep. Right now they are too busy counting all the cash flowing in from sales of DROM.

I can't argue with anything you've said, and it's pointless to wish something to be that it isn't.
I value honesty, I don't have to deal with the waitlist shenannigans 95% of the time cos I order early so what they get up no doesn't really effect me. But I did feel the "Wolverine LSF being sold out once the last 20 were gone and then no more" lies were disgusting and rude to their big spending premium line buyers.

I suspect SS will get another batch tbh....based on how quickly this has "sold out" it would mean they can't have had much more than 1000 in their warehouse...which begs the question: why didn't they just put an ES of 1000 on the regular DR's order page? Answer: Because there will be more...they put "limited edition" so they can keep getting these back in stock.That's what I believe anyway

But man,with both the exclusive and the regular,they must of made a killing off these!!!

Agreed. The EX was available for pre-order, for what, a year or more? It's one of those things that, while it may be a nice little courtesy, Sideshow isn't obligated to tell people when something is on low quantity.
