To me personally,it doesn't matter whether they put an ES or "limited edition" on their product order pages...because if I want something,I do everything I can to order it ASAP.

I found it quite annoying that people were hitting out at SS when the exclusive sold out in a flash...it's like what do you expect???!!! These things have ES's or are L I M I T E D edition!! It means you don't have the luxury of sitting around and thinking about it....it's not rocket science.

Even if you can't spare loads of cash,they offer flex-payments to make it as painless as they can,what more can they do???

It's kinda of strange how interested some people all of a sudden becomes once a figure is sold out.

It is no ones fault. I just said they could do a better job with the warnings or bring back the stock meter like they had years ago to prevent this kind of thing. Would you rather just guess or would you like to KNOW. Myself I like to know, and I don't understand what is so wrong about that.

I do understand what you are saying. It comes down to a false sense of security. You look at the page and see no low stock warning, so you think you have more time than you maybe really do.

But, honestly, I think that for them to put out these low stock warnings on their items is a manual process. I truly don't think whatever internal system they use communicates that well with their website.

Yep, that's what I think, too. It's a manual process and expecting it to update in real time is going to lead to disappointment. And who's to say that a low stock warning would've helped, anyway. Whatever the trigger is for low-stock, they still could've sold through the remainder in a few hours or whatever. If I liked a very limited piece like this, no way would I be relying on a low stock indicator before I pulled the trigger. Guess this'll just be a good lesson to be more decisive next time.

What exactly do you mean when you ask the best way to display him? Do you mean regular hand vs. EX hand?

Sorry. Yes that's what I meant, some people say the sword takes away from the figure, and since I'm new to high end figures, I'd thought to get opinions from experienced collectors.

Honestly, the sword is awesome. It gives the statue a different feel than with the non-sword hand. I've displayed about 50% of the time I've had him with the sword and about 50% with the creepy hand.

Right now, I have him with just the creepy hand because he's near Morgul Lord who has his sword drawn.

You'll have to let us know what you think when you get him in hand. Just be careful putting him together, and take your time getting the robes just right.

I think I put the sword hand on him once and in my opinion it just didn't look right, don't know if it was the angle of the sword or something else.

To my eye the "creepy hand" suits this PF perfectly and sums up the character, it just reminds me of all those scenes in fellowship where they are hunting the hobbits at dusk and into the evening, the silhouette of the rider on his steed only lit by the moonlight.

I kind of got screwed by SS. I placed my order on flex before it sold out but my flex payments were not being taken. I inquired about this then by phone and only then did they tell me that my order was actually a waitlist order even tho it starts with TBxxxxx. They could of at least informed me of this. Nevertheless I canceled my order as I did not want to take the risk of receiving someone else defective statue and picked up the regular. Needless to say, I love it. But steaming it is absolutely essential. I don't think I would keep it if I had to display it the way it came out of the box but after steaming it, it looks absolutely incredible.

Hi majestic, welcome aboard ...there is no one who can tell you how to display your figures...it is totally up to yourself which way you are happiest with ...that is all that matters...it's your figure and you should display it as you like.

Just checked out the newest newsletter and DROM is no longer "low quantity" so either they had some cancellations or they made more and it was never going to sell out. Does anyone who has one of the regular editions have a number or does it just say "limited"?

It could be anything. Declined credit cards, cancelled orders, just finding more in the warehouse. It happens. Also, you have to sign for it. UPS goes to your place 3 times and if no one is there, they send it back.

You are talking about the regular edition, right? The exclusive is sold out but waitlisted.
