Yup, the cause finally broke. Fkin prescription pain killers are ruining this country.

Yeah, actors and musicians hardly bother with street drugs anymore. Scripts are way easier to obtain and legal. These famous people have a stable of docs they go to and can get scripts from all of them. Then they fill the orders/scripts from each individual doc and start mixing meds. You're right PCK, the easy availability and access of scripts is killing this country.

I just want to know if he was taking the scripts because of serious health issues we didn't know about or if it was the typical 'stressed out and can't sleep' scenario. Either way, it was a tragic ending.

I have been addicted to prescription medication by accident. Everything works as planned in the beginning and then suddenly

you just lose sight of everything. The body craves more, your brain is frayed. Doctor keeps giving you more because that is what doctors are paid by big pharma to do. Then suddenly the doctor grows a conscious and stops filling the script leaving you alone and in disarray.

I don't know if this was mentioned previously, but here is a link to a performance by Prince in Las Vegas performing Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. To truly appreciate his musical talent, check out his guitar play. Jimmy Page has nothing on Prince here (I'm not a Prince fan, but sure do appreciate talent).

When his plane made that emergency landing, he went to the ER and they gave him a Narcan shot.

20/20 should be a good watch tonight. It's on channel 7 10:00 EST (in 10 minutes)

Why would someone name their tour "Anti-World?"

Because she's down with ISIS

And her latest album's named Anti :lol :wink1:

Wow, imagine being the person that gave painkillers to Prince before he OD on them......

Imagine being the doc that prescribed them.

I'm sure the poor guy or girl working at Walgreens couldn't feel worse but I blame the doctor(s)

That was amazing. Here's another good cover (Radiohead's Creep).

:lol I thought it was Anti-World. I don't follow her do I have no idea.

Anyway, Carmike theaters are having special showings of Purple Rain, April 23-28.

Apparently one of the very few things that this city doesn't have is a Carmike theater. DAMN. I'd be down to catch Purple Rain this weekend but the closest places playing it in Jersey or Pennsylvania are around 2 hours away

Carmike it taking a ton of **** from people saying they're just trying to cash in on his death. They say it should be shown for free or for charity. I guess iTunes should give his music downloads away for free then.

:rolleyes2
