i found out about his background by accident. i think it's a stupid idea. should just go from the 1st film and ignore the crappy sequels. fan lip service always annoy me.

Reading Noland's text it really seems they are trying to bring the scare-factor back. And I think these predators sound interesting.

But how would Noland know what has changed in their appearance? Its like the predators dont know he exists and is able to lure them or follow them covered in mud?

Well, he's been there for a while. He's probably met up with numerous other humans. He can see the change in them. And he's probably killed a few of them. He takes off their mask, and they look signficantly different from the other Predator he saw.

Or perhaps he's actually gone and saw then Predators do their thing, cutting up the humans, studying them.

It's up to you. Sorta.
