I don't think Preds are that big of a money-spinner for Hot Toys. They always seem to be in very short supply. And they don't have as much appeal to them internationally compare to Iron Man and Dark Knight.

Look at how many more Licenses Hot Toys bought after Dark Knight and Iron Man.

you joking right?
i think the predator movie line helped them earn that SPOT up there.

Hehe......spooktacular. When the great Greg was online, I said I really had to pee, but I didnt want to miss a free Hot Toys figure, and I said I wanted one. A few minutes later, he said "You may have a free Hot Toys Product"....lolz.

Since I kept talking about a lost Pred or a Dog Alien, I got the Lost Pred for free. No shipping charge. Best day evar!

Oh...WOW! :monkey5

I want the Lost Predator too. What a score! I'll have to really look into Spooktacular this October with Sideshow!

Is this movie within the same continuity as P1 and P2 or is this an entire re-imagining of the series? I've heard that the Predators are going to look different from the original ones, but are they going to be so different that they won't be recognizable as being of the same species as the Preds from the other films?

Saw those pics and the body style of the Predators seems similar enough, but they were all masked. I'm wondering what their faces look like underneath.

Have to say I love the idea of a superpredator - just a particularly large individual of the species. Why not? I hope I'm not eating these words when I see the film.

They look the same, mandibles, big foreheads, etc. Take a through the pages back and you'll find some links showing the Predators maskless in the background.

As for those complaining about the Predator's faces...I think of them like us. We all have our features and looks that make us unique. Big forehead, small foreheads, different bone structure and such in the faces, etc. and that's what makes us all unique and different from one another. Same goes with the Predators in my opinion. As long as they look hold the same basic overall look (which they have in all the movies), then I'm fine with their facial features.

I'm digging the look so far..these Predators certainly look more "tribal" and somewhat back to the original's roots. It seemed like in AVP and a LITTLE bit of AVP:R, the Predators were getting too much on the technical side and losing what made them the insidious hunters that they were. Thankfully the Wolf Predator was much more like the original Predator. The look is definitely unique and I can't wait to see more pics soon!

It looks like FOX is certainly trying to reignite these franchises. I think they know they've gone the "wrong way" with the AVP line. Seems like a good concept for PREDATORS and I hope they can also wrap up the ALIEN prequel as a good comeback as well. The point is to put quality over it all and with AVP and especially AVP:R...they wanted it done cheaper and faster. And with these franchises you CAN'T do that. PREDATOR helped define a whole new type of antagonist in a smart, alien hunter (as well as starring Arnold), PREDATOR 2 helped define the creature and its hunter culture even more and I don't think I need to justify ALIEN in anyway. I just hope they can do it RIGHT.

There are NO pics of the new Pred designs without their masks.

The Pred shown without it's mask is the lone, non mutated Pred that the new super Preds have captured.

So that one Predator isn't a common design for this film? That's troubling, I had high hopes for designs based on that one. No to say there isn't potential for the new ones to look cool, but with no foundation to really guess what they've done, I'm uneasy about it again.

Oh I missed reading that part. I can only imagine that the Super-Preds just look like they're on steroids. Perhaps some more spikes/tusks and sharper, more jagged features.

hopefully your right and we don't get hulk predators.

We already saw the pics of the Super Predator. Mask on though, but they arent that buff. Pretty normal actually.

In terms of physical build, they look about the Predator 1 range, at least from those few shots. The only thing I took away from those shots was that there was something simplified looking about them, the colorations of their skin and the costumes seemed less detailed and busy compared to past predators.
