Sorry just had to comment again because I didn't notice how cool the blue lighting is around the base, the first time I looked at the pics.

I've recieved so many amazing comments on here and facebook, however, there does appear to be a mixed view in that a few people think the base is TOO good that it should be displayed on its own...i can see where they are coming from but having seen first hand how it looks once all set up i think it goes really well plus when the car is rotating you get to see plenty of the base as the car is already being raised off the base due to the platform of the turntable...the lighting is pretty cool though

RB, you are f-cking nuts dude, lol. What does your wife think of all this? Surely you must be overtaking the house by now with all these wicked displays LOL.

Having said that, that is one of the finest pieces of craftsmanship I've seen in this hobby, well done

nice one mate! I think the wife thinks im f-cking nuts thats for sure! The room is slowly but surely getting smaller as we're all getting caved in by displays and shipping boxes! Dont worry dude, its a big enough room with high ceilings so there's still room for a few more shippers to be added....especially with the Galactus Maquette arriving soon!!! I've told the wife that i have Galactus coming (not that she knows who Galactus is!) but what i havent told her is that he is gonna be the same size as my Wolverine LSF - which she almost feinted when i had him displayed!!!

Yea! A museum of shipping boxes more like! here is what one side of the room looks like

That picture was taken abt a month or two ago and more shippers have been added since then!! Dont be shocked dude, we're currently looking for a new and bigger home cos of the everexpanding children the wife is having and the ever expanding collection that i'm having!!

Hmm true like mounted on a wall or something, can see that.

I've got plenty of space for more shippers no problem. By the way, when i mean shippers i mean with the statue inside!!! I only have about 3 or 4 pieces on display right now which are my custom Iron Man busts (as shown above) my T-800 on Harley display, my Battle Damaged T-800 with 1:1 Endoskeleton Bust and my Batmobile display. The other 93.3% of my collection is still inside their shipping boxes!

Still, i'm pretty confident that i've still got enough space to pile up some more shippers until it reaches the ceiling just take a look at my Pre Order list in my signature, still got quite a few boxes to come!! i love this hobby!

Okay guys, some quick snaps I took of the Batmobile on the display base with armoured shield! These pics remind of something out of Tron!!

So the car is rested on a central rotating turntable that allows the car to spin the full 360 at the flick of a switch!! As the car rotates the base becomes more visible which is a nice touch!

More pics of the Batmobile to follow...

Yep, all my statues/figures/vehicles (bar the 4 i mentioned in my last post, are now all packaged away safe and sound in their respective shipping boxes...its sad cos i dont get to see much of them unless i keep taking them out but it would literally be too time consuming. For example, my favourite piece in my collection is my Iron Man MKIII LSF and thats right at the back of the wall covered by tons of shippers so i havent seen that piece since the day i recieved it!

As for being a tease...i love it!!

Thanks pal... you know, the light up feature is my own little touch as i recieved the base as it was. It really is such a simple mod to add to any piece in your collection. They are basically called LED strips which can be curled around surface and are just plugged into your mains and turned on! It really makes your piece stand out, whatever it is! Check out my picture with the Iron Man busts on the last page, i have the LED lights on them too and you can see how it just brings the piece to life with all the cool shadows around the face, etc...
