Yeah the Caps has grown on me. I like that other Cap statue we were talking about a week or so ago but it's not mixed media & that's why I sold my PCS Judge Dredd.

I got into Hellboy from the movies & then started watching the cartoons. Really interesting character.

I was going to go back & pick up the original DP but I actually prefer him in his X-Force suit & I only want one statue per character.

Wonder Woman will finish the trinity & then I'll probably be done with DC. I might be tempted by a Robin PF though

She was holding my Ps4 controller the other day wondering why the Xbox wouldn't come on so she could do her Kinect fitness stuff. Like I said what she doesn't know won't hurt

But she does get looked after, I'm not evil. She spends far more money on cloths than what I do on everything. Yet she's still tells me she's got no ****ing cloths

It's what's known to all collectors Kris as the 'honest lie' just explain to the wife that your paying half of what you actually are and that way everyone is happy I always do that although £120 for a PF is ****ing brilliant that's like the equivalent of a weekend food shop at the local supermarket for me my PFs cost a safe £200 all in god forbid I have to explain to her abt the 20% import tax on top of what I'm actually paying Sideshow

Supes is gonna display perfectly with Bats and plus you've got Wonder Woman coming too... it's gonner look killer mate...

I'm going to order Wonder Woman, Captain America, Hellboy & the Deadpool PF's.

I'm on Ps4 JesseCyrus is my username. I'm on Xbox One as well as Raging3ull. I've only got Killzone on the Ps4 right now though. All my other games are on Xbox which is COD, BF because Xbox gets the DLC 1st & FIFA because it came with the console. I will get some more games for the Ps4 there's just not much out at the moment.

Andy go buy a Ps4 tomorrow & we can all get online. A Ps4 is probably just lunch money to you

A word of warning thou don't leave the invoices lying around after buying an lsf that really didn't go down well :-/

yea, I had my original one which I purchased as my first LSF back in early 2013 and then I bought that damaged MKIII on ebay back in August/September I think...which I ended up getting for free cos it arrived in more pieces than I was expecting that's the one I repaired and repainted. That one sold about a month and a half ago for a really good price, something that I was really happy about considering the effort I put into it...definitely my biggest repair job to date so I was quite proud of myself

Here is the MKIII that arrived damaged...

And then after some glue, polyfiller and a lot of sanding, I stripped him of his original paint and totally repainted the whole thing...

Those are some cool choices deadpool is awesome are you getting red or x-force I'm not sure weather to get the x-force as well on the off chance we get an x-force range

I think Steve mentioned about getting both if I'm not mistaken Ant...I think its a good move, both are equally as nice and it all depends on how much you love the character

I've already thought of that happening and so I've created a MY FOLDER specifically to file away FEDEX Invoices although the downside of doing that sometimes is filing them away and then forgetting to pay them

Does it! After seeing how well he did with repairing that MK III, I'm surprised he didn't chrome it his self.

I'm just going to get the X-Force Deadpool. I like the red & black DP & I know that's his classic colours but I think he looks a badass in his X-Force suit. Especially (Ant will like this) if SS make an X-Force Wolverine to go beside him. Which I can see happening.

What's your thoughts about the Spiderman 2 licence. With rumours of a fully clothed Spidey PF I'm definitely interested

I do like that idea a lot and it's one of the major reasons for wanting the x-force one as well

I'm hoping there's a new wolvie pf soon I suppose a brown with some new gloves boots and belt and fabric colour would be an easy change to x-force

Hey Sarv, haven't heard from you in a while? How's things going? I see you PO'd the WW PF my friend....massive congrats it was only today that I contemplated ordering her myself while the EX is still available. Story is...I'd initially got bought into Sideshows DC line as their PFs looked so good and so the Joker PF was ordered instantly along with the Bats PF and Supes PF, however, I made a decision to not get involved in every piece in the DC line and decided to concentrate on my 2 main characters that are my favourites from the DC line which are Supes and Bats. So I sold the Joker PF a while ago and also passed on other releases such as GL, Sinistro, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn...BUT...now I'm thinking should I add Wonder Woman to complete the DC Trinity? I was explaining over on the WW thread that I already own the classic 4 Marvel Comic PFs that create that amazing display set up in that infamous Sideshow pic

and thought I could do the same with DC trio...

gonna take this week to decide but at the moment I'd say I'm 70/30 that I'm going to get her

there's no way I could've pulled off the chrome effect that you'll see when complete Steve...it involves some specialist work trust me, if I could do it myself I would I'd certainly save a lot of money in not having it done in the states

Yea, really excited about the upcoming movie Spider-Man 2 plus the announcement from Sideshow to release a Spidey PF...definately interested in this one mate...I've ordered the Keaton Bats PF plus I want to order the Reeve PF also...trying to get all my favourite Marvel and DC movie characters that I can can't wait to see what pose they are going for on Spidey? Hopefully something dynamic!!

Sorry for the late reply buddy...been catching up with the posts that I hadnt replied to its funny you ask about the MK42 as I received some bad news yesterday from the guy who is repainting it. Basically, the statue was all painted in the new colour scheme and all that was left to do was to add a coat of clear acrylic varnish to help protect the paint...for some reason, this varnish has caused a reaction to the red colours and has caused various areas to blister so know the statue has to be stripped down again to allow for a another coat of red oh well, these things happen and so it looks like this wont be arriving until next week now!!! Gutted, as I was looking forward to placing him in my display case...really looking forward to videoing this display as it will be on a revolving turntable

Wow! Your collection just gets better and better! How do you get so much space for so many new statues coming in? Lol but really your collection is priceless. The silver surfer is looks so freaking nice! Chrominance is very difficult. I remember someone chromed out the destroyer and had a few spikes fall off during the process. Make sure the company knows well what they are doing on these super fragile statues. They are not like rims. Btw can't wait to see more of your 80s customs! 80s rule forever!

Hey CBG, such great comments my friend, thank you Its funny you mentioned about the Destroyer being chromed as the guy that's doing my Silver Surfer in the States has chromed many a Sideshow/Bowen statue and the Destroyer Maquette was one of them! Shame about the one you mentioned with the spikes falling off but from the pics ive seen, his Destroyer came out really well. Let me see if I can get some pics posted on some of his work

As for the 80's cartoon custom pieces, I've still got the G1 Megatron arriving in the next few months which I'm looking forward to. Currently working on fitting a voice box on my Optimus Prime (which I took from the Hasbro 25th Anniversary boxset) and so that way I can have the statue speak phrases from the cartoon at a touch of a button Also, i'll be taking a few pics in the next day or two of my 80's cartoon DVD collection which you might be interested in...there's a lot of 'em!!!
