Hi Frank, I believe these pieces were commissioned quite a good few years ago now by a chap called MFA2000 or something like that. They were available as 1/6 scale kits...here are some painted pics

As promised guys, here are some updated WIP pics of the Arts Dept Half Scale Custom T-800 Terminator from Terminator 2. These progress shots show how far the company have come in regards to starting out with the portrait and trying to get the likeness right all the way to sculpting the pose (which incedently is taken from the scene where he shooting at the cop cars from the inside of Cyberdyne Systems HQ).

The final painted proto of the skin tone looks really good...

Although the eyes do looks slightly too small in my opinion...I still think the likeness is not quite 100%...what do you think?

Overall its a pretty good effort and can appreciate the time that has gone into a piece this big, however, I still feel the likeness (notably the eyes and mouth) are still a little out in my opinion - hence why it looks a tad better when the sunglasses are on...but the pose is great as are the mixed media parts including faux leather outfit plus accessories which include the huge Gatlin Gun, Shotgun, Bandolier and a few more bits which haven't been confirmed as yet.

One things for sure is that with it being half scale, it's gonna look bad-ass in any display!!!! unfortunately, due to lack of space I won't be adding this to my collection although if it was another Iron Man statue I'm sure I'd be able to fit it in somewhere

What's the status of your Megatron? Haven't heard any mention of that lately. I should be receiving mine shortly. Instead of the weathered paint job, I had them go with an almost straight out off the assembly line mostly clean paint job. I will start my own collection thread and post pics of him up in it once I get him. I also have my own 1:2 Custom World of Warcraft Illidan Stormrage being worked on by Infinity. If you think Megatron was big..........

The T2 half scale looks pretty cool. I agree that the likenesss isn't 100%. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but something is slightly off. I think the eyes are part of it. Maybe his lower jaw needs to be wider too? Weird because the first few unpainted pics look spot on. Still an epic piece. Congrats Andy!

That Arnie looks really good. Must agree with you about the face, something seems just a little off. However, that doesn't really take much away from the overall figure which stops you dead in your tracks.

This is an example of where mixed media works well. I say it looks great besides the likeness. Looks the best with the shades on, so maybe it has something to do with the eyes, although the lips look a little off. Can't believe you are not getting it man?!! Space? Andy doesn't worry about space.

Damn so cool t2! Love that lion o next to he man! Your collection is insanely awesome! I think the guy with the lambo and the guy with his own company of statues has the best I've seen so far. All 3 collections is a massive nice collectors dream cave. Congrats to all of you and enjoy your hobby in good health. Keep them coming with more pics! I want plenty of the 80s stuff
