I have the Ex for the HT Optimus so might just keep that, I'm still hoping PCS does a G1 line because Jerry has also expressed a lot of interest in doing one so I'll probably drop the HT or sell it to fund any others. Now the question, what's the Ex on this new G1 figure.

Saw Rafael post that MIB LSB and I saw you comment. Man that's amazing but crazy expensive man. Maybe when I'm rich I'll track it down lol

great post bro I just buy the things I like I know that it looks like I buy buy buy but the truth is when something comes in usually a something has to be sold its just not physically possible to hold that many collectibles in an average household, especially here in the UK where houses aren't as big as say the ones we see here on the forums in the US and Canada. Also, I don't want to be one of those who literally cram all their collectibles in one single room cos it would begin to look cluttered and I think that really takes away the display factor of each piece as statues begin to overlap statues and I think to myself, whats the point? One day bro...i'll get to display all my pieces and when that day eventually comes then i think I'm going to have to sell a lot of stuff anyway cos I'd just have way too much to display I also think in this hobby, quality is better than quantity and having say 10-15 pieces on display can look just as good as say 30-45 pieces all crammed together

Yea, got the great news in last night that my local retailer will be receiving stock of the ECC MIB Rosenberg Bust which i was so happy about...and yes, whilst its very, very expensive (probably the most expensive piece I've ever bought!) i think its just one of those majestic centre pieces that you could display on its own and admire the level of detail and work that's gone into it. Cant wait for it bro

Completely forgot that Jerry at PCS mentioned about starting a new G1 Transformers line how awesome would that be!!! Yea, very exciting news indeed bro

RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'COMING SOON' NEW LOOK SIDESHOW BATMAN PREMIUM...

Finally got to take some pics of my completed Batman Premium Format Cape Modification As you know from a few weeks back, Daniel Paulin from the Statue Forum, kindly made me one of his fantastic custom leather capes as an alternate display option for my PF and after adding some wire and a few hours worth of futzing I finally got the look I was hoping for

So firstly, here are a few pics of how it looked originally with the Sideshow cape

and here is how it looks now

As you can see, this new cape mod completely transforms the overall look of the statue in my opinion and I'm just loving how smoothly the cape blends in with the pose. After posting the pics on facebook last night I was really overwhelmed by the feedback as most of them were actually in favour of this mod rather than the original Sideshow sculpted cape which was really pleasing to hear. Only trouble now is that I like it so much, I know it's gonna be difficult to go back to the original sculpted cape now

Other factors which also puts this mixed media cape in favour of the Sideshow one is that fact that it relieves the statue of so much weight so that any leaning issues would become a thing of the past...I know from when placing the Sideshow cape onto the statue that a certain amount of stress was being applied to one particular direction....and that was forward! I'm not saying mine was about to topple over but then again, I've never displayed my Bats PF for more than say a week in total so I'm unsure as to what the consequences would've been if I had displayed it for a long period?

Anyway, hope you like the new look and thanks as ever for looking I've also got the custom mixed media cape for the Sideshow Comic Superman PF so i'll be working on that one next

Andy, those cloth capes look really good! I really like the sculpted capes (minus the weight distribution concern), but these cloth counterparts look just as good. Congrats!

All MM statues should have fabric capes. These look great Andy, congrats on getting them, I feel these capes make the statues pop a bit more!

loving that superman rb, looks like a giant 1/6 hot toys version lol.....i saw a guy on SF that had the long cape, but this is so much better...terrific choice.

Thanks man I love G1 stuff so any thing amazing is always in my line of sight.
I know what you mean about space. I have a pretty decently sized home and the wife is okay with statues in the living room (but we already have 8 there now and a 1/6) but I'm not keen on keeping them all there. I'm waiting til my house settles son I can renovate the basement and move majority of my setup downstairs. However with the money I spend on these things I don't see me saving any money for that lol

Yeah Jerry has in many occasions mentioned that if there is 1 license he'd love to do it'd be G1 Transformers. Would love some PCS statues as they do a great job bringing our childhoods to life.

Dude that ECC piece is remarkable and I'd love to have it cause like you said its going to be a serious conversation starter and the detail is ridiculous

The capes look really good Andy. I especially like the Superman one and am sure it will help people that need space since the sculpted ones do take up a lot of room. Personally, I need to save my money for other projects and I am happy with the stock sculpted ones.

Looks great dude. A bit of a risky one to take on as iv heard the capes already look awesome but they compliment the statues really well. I also think its nice to switch bits around now and then just to change it up and confuse guests when they come over
