But my guess is they target the newbies e.g. guy walks in the store and stumbles upon these awesome pieces for the first time and buys one immediately. I am assuming this must be rare but could happen.
I honestly don't know how they have managed to stay open for so long. It's one of those shops you go in for a look and then order it cheaper online somewhere else
thing is some looney tune will actually buy it at that price! I've never bought a thing from FB and will never do so...just think, they are selling that Hulk Maquette for approx 2x more expensive than SSC are and it's on display infront of the shop window where its unprotected from the elements! Its not like theyve got 5 of these in the back of the store...these people are NUTS!I have noticed similar issue with local comic book store too. For some reason the prices are over RRP and the reason is import duties, local taxes and hardly any profit.
