Haven't they changed the suit so it starts off a traditional grey RoboCop, then Keaton changes it to black before it changes to blue-grey for the final battle?

An adaptive suit based on the immediate need for camouflage would be cool....if it was silver in standard mode...or gun-metal grey. I guess the black just makes it looks like the "future" suit we see in so many movies these days....along with the design.

Why not just rip off Predator, since they've already done that with IM and Batman and give him a camo that bends light? :huh

I saw it, really liked it, unfortunately I can't go into detail because the waiver i signed but I agree with Adolfo.

I wish you could tell us about the suit and the change of colors...... But I understand...

Who the **** cares about the color of the suit? I'm so tired of hearing about the color of the suit.

Do you have a favorite athlete? If so is your appreciation for them based off of their looks or by their play and athletic ability?

IE if the movie is awesome who cares if the suit is ****ing grey, black, or white? Get over it. Or simply don't go see it. :lecture Give the director a chance. His elite squad movies have been better than 95% of the crap people lined up to see this summer.

:lol

yeah, color of suit should only matter once it has been established that it's a good movie.

then even if the suit is black at all times, it won't matter because the film is good. :lol

My admiration for Robocop 1 has got nothing to do with the suit being blue. :lol

True but it's the iconic style that makes some us complain. It be like Indy without a Fedora. js

Does this guy move like Peter Weller? There should be common sense guidelines in cinema and one of them should be not even thinking about remaking Robocop. It's like the Citizen Kane of Cyborg Sci-Fi.

Oh I get it, i'm as picky as the next annoying nerd. :rotfl

But any adventure/action movie can have an actor wear an Indy fedora but it's still not Raiders.

The whole package has to come together, not just a single prop or costume color.

From what I gathered from the trailer, he moves like a ninja on cocaine and speed. :rotfl

Well because the trailer shows like 4 different colors, Duh.....

I would love to know how many different suits are there and how much is the black suit used. It is a valid question I am curious to know if the entire movie is mostly black or if he goes back to the silver.

See this is what I mean.

If this director is so good, let him work on a project with something that resembles a new IP. I know Hollywood is in the habit of eating their own dried out franchise feces these days, but it doesn't mean you get an automatic pass for walking the dog.

Even Ridley Scott knew better than to do a straight up remake of Alien. Grow a creative pair and strike out into new territory. All the CGI fairy dust in the world isn't going to help this war crime of a movie. Get used to that, "open-minded" moviegoers!

What movies would you compare it to as far as quality is concerned? Better than RoboCop 3?

I'm very much open to that possibility/probability. I'm also open to it being better than Robocop 2.

Robocop in that incarnation was a one hit wonder. Maybe the reboot will do better - not in actually besting the original film but in being more 'franchise friendly'.

Like Terminator: Salvation? :lol
