New trailer is out. For what it is, it doesn't look bad. Of course it doesn't even hold a candle light to the original but it is what it is. Can't get over that cosplay looking "suit" though. Also wish it was rated R! Need moar gore.

Hmm, new trailer is definitely better than the first. If it was done by a different studio that didn't have the rights to RoboCop as something that was just trying to cash in on Iron Man or something it'd seem like a passable way to spend 90 minutes.

Yeah I get a totally different vibe from the second trailer. Still looks like a guy in a suit though. And I don't think this is tonally similar to the original. More global. I don't know how I feel at the moment, but if I'm not sold on Robo... why bother?

Yes exactly. With today's makeup and CG, there's really no excuse. He's supposed to be somewhat frightening when he takes the helmet off. I cringed when seeing Weller robo take it off. Ouch.

It's just gotten progessively worse in every imaginable way as it's gone on. The suit reveals, the hand and face, the motorcycle, the comic con panel with sleepy Micheal Keaton and the director trashing the original, these cgi I Robot trailers... you couldn't pay me $8 to go see this.

To be fair, this trailer wasn't as bad as the 1st one, it might have some redeeming qualities, although scarce.

The director trashing the original was just retarded, but I won't condemn the whole thing for that, at least not before seeing it.

I'll be going in to this completely blanking the fact that it carries the Robocop title, because in that respect it's a total ****ing slap in the face.

On the other hand I'm sure it will be a decent popcorn movie if nothing else.
