The organic hand is so stupid. Seeing that action figure reminds me of how it still bugs me.

The old Robocop needed enough life support to keep portions of Murphy's head alive.

This new suit also needs to keep a hand alive. To what advantage? A human hand is nowhere near as strong as a machine. It's one more thing that can be burned or shot.

From some of the stills it looks like they are using CG to narrow the elbow and suggest there's not a human arm in there, so the hand is kept alive artificially.

There's no way Detroit can pay for it either.

I wonder if the "hand" won't actually be real at all and will just be for show. It could just be an artificial skin glove covering robotic fingers like Luke Skywalker.

That would be better. I don't know why they would do it story wise, but the tech is easier to justify.
