This had a slight setback after the wife threw the laptop on top of the sculpt. Yeeeah, that went over well. Anywho, it's back on track and I thought I'd show everyone a tiny update.
I'm still refining the shapes but you can start to see some similarities. The torso should be done in the next week or so and prepped for molding.

Looking sufficiently gross, Riggs! They sure did a great job with the prosthetics on Emil in Robo. Must taken hrs and hrs to get that on. Looking forward to your completed figure!

As promised, here's a video update on my progress. I stayed as accurate as possible to what was visible in the movie. I used a handful of bts pics and tons of screencaps. The body is more or less complete but I may change the position of the arms a little. The only sculpting left will be altering the wrists to fit the hands I'll be making. As always, comments and critiques are welcome . . .

Thanks so much. Making something a bit different was part of my reason for starting him. Plus he'll look pretty crazy setting next to BD Robo, when I get him.

I've been tinkering with one of the hands. I used some cheapos as a base and then sculpted over them. I'm just looking for the appropriate size and shape right now. They're kind of tedious and it's off putting. lol
