Yeah, there's always a hype hiatus with all major releases.

Nobody can maintain permanent hype for such long periods of time. And the marketing people let us breathe, it's already hard to muster interest for this stuff as it is.

This movie will disappoint at the box office. It will make a couple hundred million I'm sure...probably 300 or so, but it won't be HUGE in my opinion. I'm speaking domestic as well. I just don't see this being a 400 to 500 million dollar movie.

I think it'll do just fine. It's Star Wars after all.

Marketing is gonna ramp up, it will be trending on social media and everybody will be talking about it 2 weeks or a month before release and a week or 2 after release.

I think once the marketing takes full gear, you'll see a lot more hype.

E7 had everyone on edge 24/7 for an entire year. :lol

Nah, it was also bursts of hype surrounding new trailers and stuff like everything else, there were also moments of hiatus that were filled with BvS or CW hype.

It's gonna make all the monies.

Internetz will call it a fail.

Dave will continue to ignore my requests for a desperate looking emoji saying, "Right? Right, guys?!"

:lol:lecture

Maybe it wasn't as bad in other parts of the world. Here in the US it was SW damn near every day for months.

:exactly:

Every single day there was a different media outlet spewing E7 news and excitement, it really grew to almost TPM 1999 proportions.

The only thing that even came remotely close to that madness was Affleck's Batman casting and Batman's costume reveal. :lol

Ain't no hookers talking about RO when I pass them by now.

That's the wrong use of your time with hookers.

What else is there to do with hookers other than this

Hype is overrated. Just look at how "Age of Ultra Crap" and "Da Farce Awakens", two terrible films, made a huge amount of money just because of overblown marketing.

Hype and brand.

The PT is said by many to be awful flicks, yet still made lots of money and sold lots of merchandise.
