Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

I remember him saying that he was going to stay away from the DCEU movie threads for a while because he knew too much info or was working with WB people...or something like that. My guess is we'll see him again after WW or JL comes out.

I want to know what happened to your adversary, WWEjedi. :lol

I think he got yelled at by his people :lol

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

The more new clips I see, the more I think the reshoots become apparent. It's tonally very different (and better IMO) than the early trailers showed. Way more Star Wars-y.
And apparently a huge chunk of the material seen in the earlier trailers isn't even in the movie. Hope the bacta tank made it.
Looking forward to seeing it in a couple of days!

I wonder if all of these paid off Hollywood insider bigwigs are coming out in force with their positive reviews because Disney knows that the critics are going to score this below TFA or god forbid in the 70's or 80's RT.

Weren't The TFA reviews out 2 weeks before the movie?

How could the critics score it so low? I thought Disney paid every single one of thm off.

I need to become a critic so I can get my hands on some of that Sweet Disney Loot!

Not really, this movie is sold out this weekend in san antonio. Its the star wars hype, this may surpass TFA, especially if the initial buzz is way to high

The world premiere screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story happened in Hollywood last night, and after the credits rolled, those in attendance took to Twitter to give their impressions.

The last time I loved a Star Wars movie as much as I loved #RogueOne, it was 1977.

Our own IGN entertainment editors were on-hand for the celebrity-packed screening and weighed in with their own thoughts.

#RogueOne is FANTASTIC. Incredible action, both planetary and interstellar, and looks GORGEOUS. Most importantly, it feels like Star Wars.

So... #RogueOne? It's freaking great! So many crowd-pleasing moments! It's emotional, exciting and incredibly satisfying. Loved it!

All those sound like paid shills. Will wheaton? Might as well post the reactions of the actors and producers of the movie......
Ridiculous fake reactions. The movie might be great but i really cant imagine any of those tweets serious

Disney flashes money in front of my face i'll gladly say that RO > ANH/ESB/MyFamily.

All humans fold when it comes to money.

Not even money :lol :lol

When bvs came out some of the people praising it just got gift boxes with bvs merchandise :lol

What gives it away is Jim from ign, this dude will bash anything dc or dark and not humorous, thats what i meant about dumbing down movies and cheap laughs because believe it or not he has mentioned that in his reviews about DC, but anything disney or marvel he's giving them excellent ratings.

Of course I remember all the phenomenal reviews of Superman Returns....

I trust consensus like I trust Trump can't get elected.

DC must be cheap bastards lol

They know it takes money, favors or gifts to change minds.

Call me crazy but honestly DC knows batman sells, thats why maybe they are putting their money into the Lego Batman movie. Totally aimed for kids and just what DC needs. Lighthearted and fun, DC is aiming way lower right now lol
