Jack! In the Star Wars shelf because he has no where else to go. But what would Jack get up to in the Star Wars universe 🤔

I haven't even taken the plastic off the hands yet. I'm just underwhelmed by it. It's a DX 15.5 in my eyes. I know I'll have fun photographing it this summer, but I wish I watched more comparison videos on this before I paid for it. But in my defense I was super excited to get it, now I'm just whatever on it. It doesn't help that the DX15 still looks phenomenal, so to me this is has some upgrades (rooted hair, paint on the face) and some downgrades (hat, hands, sword). The base is incredible though, I have the DX 15 on that right now.

I think if this was from a different movie in the series instead of a rehash, I would be more excited. I'd give this a 7/10 overall.

I imagine he'd take the Falcon from Han and paint it black as his Black Pearl 2.0 and try to make as much credits that would be the closest thing to gold. Basically he'd fit right in.

As impressive as the Hot Toys rooted dreads might be in figure form, I think Rzeznikk’s custom dreadlocks are much more appropriately scaled. It goes to show how thick they are on the Artisan figure. Wild.

I also don’t understand what’s with those little large bundle wisps of hair at the sides of the face. Is there way to bring out the wavy hair out like the source material?
It's better in hand but who knows since this is their first attempt will they do another jack from COTBP or DMC and do a better job with the dreads and hair. I can see them doing that I but we'll see one day.

I’m still waiting on Sideshow to ship out the DX38. Just sold the Artisan yesterday.

But yeah, if they make either of the first three movies look, I’ll upgrade and go Artisan if the dreadlocks are better.

It’s essentially needle felting technique. You take wool and literally stab it with a needle or sharp implement until it becomes tight and shaped as desired.

Still an amazing feat at this scale and the intricate detailing of it.
Not just the hair but the total package. At the moment, JS, Baylan, and InArt Aragorn are on my desk; beautiful figs all but JS is the only one that looks like a custom $$$$. :love

Maybe an unfair advantage as JS costume is so detailed; but there's the weathered sash, the multiple buttons coat, leather/leather look belts, beading, ringed hands with wraps, the wrapped dreads, cloth materials with weathering.

Do you have photos of the Rzeznikk's version?

Anyone need a DX06 hat?

Have one I no longer need as likely canceling my artisan order with SS. Tired of waiting on this.

Someone on the waitlist will get lucky if so, unless someone wants my order? (Unsure if possible)?

Why don’t you wait it out..? It’ll come lol..

Recently got Aragorn so that has somewhat ‘tided over’ my addiction for wanting a new figure.

This is from DMTNT not COTBP which is my most desired look. Some photos I’ve seen it look amazing and others not so much.

So very much lost interest and I can use funds elsewhere.

I’m also used to ordering figures on release direct from HK so this entire batch situation with SS has been deplorable.

I'd sent them a message bud and ask since they charged you about the same day they did me and shipped later in the week. It makes no sense why they'd take your money and hold it.

Genuinely curious - is it just a patience thing? Or did you not really want it to begin with?

Not saying you have to operate this way, but, the way I see it, if it's a timing thing, then did you actually really want it or was it just getting caught up in the hype and/or FOMO?

I've been asking this of myself with recent Star Wars purchases as well as the recent DP Wolverine figure, so I'm not singling you out by any means.

I just know for this figure, and other really beloved characters, I'm happy to wait as long as my order is secured. But if you think you're going to sell it not long after getting it anyway, might as well cancel it. No point of going through with it at that point IMO.

Thanks bud I may do. But I’m more leaning on canceling now I think.

Appreciate the advice however. 👍🏻
Understandable bud. You could still get it and use it as a trade for something you really want. The value for it is there, and you never know especially if it's new and sealed. Definitely think you can get an InArt you want or future release imo.

I think it’s a combination of factors really.

I’ll be honest, I’m not the most patient of collectors but I’ve been excited and patient for this since I secured it.

But having just got Aragorn in, and this batch release thing with Sideshow, I guess I’m just feeling a little nonplussed over the extra wait. Coupled with the fact I have a few reservations on the production piece and now I’ve got Aragorn in hand I kind of want to go all in on the LOTR line and my funds are not limitless.

Just kind of leaning more towards cancelling.

Very good point bud and thanks again. I’ll certainly keep that in mind.
