Wow...they went so easy on it. Lame...

Seriously, can't even mention how Yoda makes Miss Piggy sounds when he's annoyed or how the AT-AT can easily be destroyed if the rebels didn't attack them head on, or why can't Vader use the force to prevent Luke from falling, or to bring Luke back to him from the hanging, or Han Solo not spotting Boba Fett following them, Vader disabling the hyperdrive instead of just capturing them, Luke not sensing the huge Wampa behind him, Luke leaving the cave to die outside instead of finishing the job and killing the critically injured Wampa? The list can go on and on.

The fact that aome reviews say it isnt memorable is more eye calling to me, its the modern blockbuster syndrome, and not used so lightly as "dark and gritty"

Rotten Tomatoes gave ROTJ a score of 80%. So R1 is right on track to be the #4 ranked Star Wars film.

That's better than feared. As long as its better than TFA, that's a win.

It used to be a 78% but it went up to 80% after TFA came out.

Well well now it isn't getting the 100 percent raves that some of you swore by using the opening night premiere tweets- reality sets in. It may not even come close to TFA box office which I knew was lightning in a bottle anyway

That said I may love it if it isn't a Disney-fied template film!

She called it the best SW film ever and that the trailers don't do the film or the characters justice.

Keep in mind she considers BVS an underrated masterpiece.

but it IS a masterpiece- geeeez!

Well, main Disney guy came and said there was no political agenda after all, Im guessing that affected the nuMale reviews.

80% isnt bad though, Im guessing thats closer to what it really deserves instead of the usual hyperbolic 90%+ some movoes get that dont deserve.

And whe a doofus gives you a bad score because its "not fun enough", thats a badge of honor

I read everything. Nothing really happens and everything we all speculated and saw rumors of are true.

There was one cameo for two characters that I didn't expect though. That should be fun.
