Honestly you cant blame lucas for Tarkin since that was set 20 years before common! Give him a break lmao!!! Look at the technology either way from the way Tron 2.0 all the way up to civil war and now this movie!!! Tarkin was iffy but they nailed LEIA. I was in shock.
I really felt it for Krennic and once again I will stand by word that Tarkin is really the bad guy AGAIN outdoing vader, its like Gor-War said, it looked like a cosplay to me, Prowse really did have jt down too good...
Going back to krennic i did feel it for him, he did all the work to make it operational, and tarkin just relinquished his command making krennic attempt to appeal to vader only to have it backfire on him badly, therefore he tried redeeming himself at the last bit to finally have him get blown away by his own creation that frankly to me it was justified, i think.
Now. The next plot hole in my book is that given 20 years to finish the first death star, how the hell did they finish the second one in less than four years, with the plan gone from the archives and without the kaiber lasers destroyed from the first one, i think they mentioned they took all of them from jedda and held it in storage but even then thats a monumental task even for the empire given the notion that they destroyed the temple and make it seem like it was all used up in the first DS....
