Same here! I loved the nastolgic tone of TFA. But this is what SW needs to feel like from now on.

people complaining about the CGI, it was great. I could tell the difference, but it wasn't something that took me out of the film. a few friends were blown away that Tarkin still looked so young. Until I told them he ded.

Asking DARTH VADER to "put in a good word for you?" That took some nerve.

Feel sorry for the ones sitting next to him in the theater.

Vader's Destroyer coming out of hyperspace and shattering fleeing Rebel ships that thought they were in the clear...so many freakingly awesome white-knuckle moments in that finale.

Hellz yeah!

The freaking ****storm of so many elements coming together in that finale, it was like the Star Wars equivalent of crossing the streams WHILE opening the Ark of the Covenant.

The Rogue One crew, AT-AT's (or AT-ACT's if you will), then Krennick, then the entire Rebel fleet, then Vader, then Tarkin in the DEATH STAR, and then all these badass "Winter Soldier" moments sprinkled in like the Star Destroyers colliding, the one Shoretrooper going all "Bucky" by tossing the grenade into the cargo bay with Bodhi, the AT-ACT briefly pausing "Uncle Bob"-style as if the RPG did nothing more than dislodge its sunglasses, I'm almost surprised that I didn't spontaneously combust due to nerdgasm overload.

Yeah. Michael Giacchino might be my favorite composer aside from Williams. His work on Super 8 and Up were just brilliant IMO, as was Rogue One. I was thrilled to learn that he was brought on board by LFL.

Yes, he is in the scene when a rebel runs up to Mon Mothma and tells her that the Admiral is attacking Scarif.
