That's what I was thinking, I mean, the EU has some poops in it too, but, do I want Kyle or Darth Nihilus to be part of this tumblr-verse?

Or say, is Rey really any worse than Star Killer (character)? Star Wars as a whole is so bad that makes these sort of decisions difficult Star Wars is the leftovers of everybody else's better ideas in sci-fi/fantasy. Why do we like it so much? Lucas tried to give it substance and didn't have the technique to do it, maybe some of the EU also tried...

But everything since and moreso with Disney is just a whole lot of vapid member for normies and pseudo geeks.

I actually did forget that. Kyle Katarn stole the death star plans in the old EU?

Yeah. When I was a young lad I infiltrated the Imperial facility and stole the Death Star plans as Kyle Katarn.







And instead of "Deathtroopers", you fought Dark Troopers.









It is so real that Kyle and the Dark Troopers have been glorified into plastic!

Yeah I have all 5 of those figures. Other than the Ralph Macquarie concept figures, those are the only Expanded Universe figures I bought.

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight is probably the game I played the most on the PC besides Half Life.

Jedi Outcast was the last good one I remember from the series.

I have to say, there was a time when all we had were the Brian Daley NPR radio dramas, Zahn's original trilogy books and those Xwing vs TieFighter and Dark Forces games.

Star Wars, fun and stressfull at the same time.

I remember liking Shadow of the Empire and the Phantom Menace pod racer game. Those are the only SW games I've played .
