Brian Wilson, hands down, because he is a great example of how you can overcome anything life throws at you with the love and support of those around you. It may take a few years and almost dying a few times and ballooning ot 350 lbs, but in the end you can get the job done. :lol

I'm going to have to say Hawkeye from M*A*S*H. I should have added him to my favorite fictional characters thread.

 
George Lucas (fired my imagination)
Stan Lee (taught me to read and gave me my vocabulary - excelsior!!)
Steve Jobs (showed me what was possible in human-computer interaction)
... and My Dad (made me and gave me my moral foundation)
 
Role Model is such a weighted phrase. People I admire is much easier - John Stewart, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Peter Jackson, Sam Raimi - but I doubt any of these gentlemen are so perfect that I'd follow their example blindly in anything they do.
