Honestly, even being as big of an ALIEN fan as I am, I just am not real excited about the upcoming Alien maquette.

That pose they've got it in just sucks wet sack and really takes away from the piece.

I fully agree, I remember everyone saying the "spin" pose of the CM was wack, but this "nosferatu" pose is... is...

Now that is nice, really expensive though, lets just hope Sideshow pull their socks out when it comes to the big chap LSB, it will be bigger so has the potential to be even more impressive than this. Wishfull thinking of course but we can all hope...

It wasn't brilliantly visible onscreen but for me the visible skull is what makes the Alien such an incredible, unique and down right scary design, im suprised all the later films dropped the design tbh.

The production piece is starting to ship! Our fellow collector in Japan got the piece in. It's amazing...and it looks even better than the protos. Can't wait to see it in person!

Interesting, from the look of the pics. The paint scheme matches the protos but not like the one Asaka got, a special customized piece? Humm....either way. It gonna rock.

I'd be all over this... if it wasn't so damn expensive. These aren't really factory paint apps so it's understandable that there would be a bigger price hike between raw and painted, but yowza. For a 13.5" bust, as gorgeously perfect as it is, anything above $500 is way too much.

Any idea as to how much the full 1/5 statue will be? I'd prefer the bust to be honest, just wondering which might be cheaper or a better value. And lastly, where can we get these? There's this Japanese online store that's sold out of all versions, so is this bust totally gone?

I also think it's a bit much. Good thing the quality is there and yea, it looks perfect/film accurate(= expensive). As far as I know, it's all out for a good while(especially there're only 100 of these..).

No update on the 1/5 full scale version. Will definitely post some if there's any news.

Nothing on the market come close to the look of the piece, I guess. This is the only one that really nailed the look of the creature. Absolutely hate the price but too I'm also a fan...

Gah, if the 1/5 statue is pricier than this, then I missed out... then again, $780-something for a 1/3 bust is just nuts. Sideshow could probably out out a 1/2 version (although it probably won't look as good) for $500.

Tricky business. Really curious as to how the statue is priced.
