I liked his second Namek get-up as well. With the darker (almost black) jumpsuit and the shoulder pad-less outfit.

I'm surprised nobody has customized Datong Super Saiyan Vegeta to get the Frieza Saga armor. It seems you just need to put epoxy or some type of material over the shoulder straps, make them all one solid piece, and then paint over it.

That outfit never made sense to me tbh; if it was so much better and newer than the other style, then why didnt Frieza or the Ginyus wear it? I mean he had it on his ship for goodness sake!

Ha, that's a good excuse. It'll be interesting to see a custom pop up in the future if somebody is very determined to produce that specific attire.

Apparently there's two different versions. In Kai, Vegeta states that it's an older model but decides to wear it because it's the only one that fits him. In the Funimation dub, Vegeta states that it's a newer model. I like to think they all come in a standard size that are able to expand to fit different body sizes.

Anyway, all vegeta did was power up and die in that 2ndnamek suit.

How did you screw it up big d? i clipped mine off and sanded down the armour. Then when I reattached them I simply glue them to his tail. I can never display him with a loose tail and armour pads now but he never was shown like that anyway. Literally never. So that's no issue.

I also glued his inner waist joint, which was double jointed, so no articulation loss and no falling apart.

When I tried to cut the front peg off my hand slipped and it broke off at the waist making a nasty hole, I wasnt best pleased

Oooh ouch. I actually explicitly wanted to prevent that by clipping it off as closely to the panel, instead of the armour, because you can sand this stuff down really easily which Id happened to know from an earlier mod. I also literally used a metal scions lol, and just slowly chewed through it. I'm a massive noob though.

Its very nice that he comes with that removable tail because that made it really easy to glue the panels back on. I also glued a broken arm of a PAK and I never notice, because whenever I do want to change a pose I just rip it loose and glue it back on in the way I want lol.

Yeah, that's why I don't buy the whole "older model but I'll wear it because it's the only one that fits" logic. Doesn't really make any sense to me.

He was almost killed by Krillin in that suit, too.

When I get 17 soon chances are I'm done with this line until next summer...:/ Dont think Im buying the three releases after him.

My 6 remaining wants aren't changing. Buu era vegeta and gohan, any pre-buu tien, a proper saiyan saga goku, nappa and a tall long haired trunks is it. Can't see myself buying much more than that really. Nothing post namek in any case and I don't expect much precell releases to be made if any. Maybe gotenks or a ssj3 goku if repainted, maybe Raditz.

So at best that's 9 left to buy of which I can easily miss 3-5, and I'm done with it. This line is too expensive too care about most side and minor characters for me.

I wonder who will be done quicker, me or you Blood?

Well I'm in this line for the long run, I'll be buying DBZ Figuarts as long as they'll keep making them & keep the quality high. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us. I'll stop collecting when they stop making.

While I wasn't a fan of GT there were some character designs I liked so I'd buy some depending on who it is.
