@Blood Thanks, but I meant that the country of Japan is the Dragon Ball's fanbase is biggest. Not meaning their biggest franchise. I don't even know if it's even in the top 100 in America. I wouldn't even call it a popular franchise here, but it has a big cult fan base. The video games helped a bit, but KAI helped revive it a lot and Battle of Gods helped too. This is just my personal opinions.

I appreciate you getting those numbers. I didn't even think it was that high for Japan! That Darn Cat! (Does anyone remember that movie?)

@angelo That was an older poll, but the recent ones still had Goku and Vegeta at the top, a long with the usual Gohan, Piccolo, and Trunks. I had other Japanese popularity polls from 2005, 2007, 2010, and I think 2012, but I couldn't find them.

Ssj Vegeta is decent apart from the hip joints, scouter..... not so much

My scouter Vegeta is horrible compared to the real one, lacking paint apps and two left feet, but ssj Vegeta is almost the same, if a bit more brittle.

So my Datongs haven't arrived yet and i'm starting to worry...to those that own them, are the joints loose or become loose easily?

It's clearly a bootleg but I think it's a really decent one. I give Datong quite a lot of credit for redeveloping the accessories. Super Saiyan Vegeta was very easy because it was a basic figure with a simple chest piece. Datong actually made EVERYTHING that was included in the original Scouter Vegeta packaging. It depends on how you personally take it. Some people like it, some people don't.

Well, that's a difference of opinions. I honestly don't think the figure itself is a turd at all. It's a given that the quality is going to be no where near S.H. Figuarts. While there are some cons to the figure, $36 is a damn good deal. (Edited: It's actually cheaper than $36.) It sits in well with other S.H. Figuarts for display purposes. If it suits the buyer's needs, then it's worth it.

Im simply comparing datongs two attempts at this point. Ssj Vegeta is actually pretty decent but scouter isnt even close to that let alone the real ones!

There wasn't much of Super Saiyan Vegeta to even compare though! It's a simple packaged figure compared to Scouter Vegeta.

Awesome Namek Krillin, FanAtticus! I've been waiting for somebody to finally decided and customize one. I'm glad it turned out as good as I expected it but even better. What parts of it are from what? I can't even tell which is a good thing.

There are good and bad points to both. I personally prefer without, as it hides the joint more unless the knee is really bent, wheras the segmented knee is always noticeable imo with very little improvement when bent the same way.
