Nick, it has the same exact barcode as the original.

Orbital beat me to it but that power pole says, "Thank you for participating in another thematic event dragon ball Z! Stay tuned for our events calendar of the group and have fun!" according to Google. Where did you get that from!?

What kind of paint does Tamashii use on these figures? Especially their prototypes?

Probably higher-than-normally-attainable-quality paint, applied with an airbrush.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. If they were easily accessible, I'm sure we would have seen similar paint applications by now. I wonder if acrylic paint works smoothly in an airbrush rather than blotchy.

I found that power pole on instagram, hoping you guys would know where/how to acquire it because it goes perfectly with Son Goku

Yes hand painted with airbrushed details. Like the different shades in his hair and jumpsuit were most likely airbrushed.

That is correct fellas; however, to achieve supreme accuracy the boots must be repainted also, mainly the laces from brown to red & the lining from red to yellow

i have modded mine into a Saiyan Saga outfit & i am satisfied with the result

I wish I would have bought a second Goku and Krillin to do it, but there was no way to get the symbols at the time. Oh well, get a proper one made Tamashii!

hmm... fyi, it's not necessary you or anyone to buy an extra Krillin for the belt alone. For instance, for my custom Yamcha I used the belt from this figure

They are almost exactly the same, can barely tell the difference. Just pull the figure apart, the belt slides right off, & plop it on your Figuarts. You can find this figure on ebay for like 5 or 10 bucks, and in turn saving you $50+ for a Figuarts Krillin

I'm sure there are other alternatives for the belt, if you search ebay auctions for some old figures. Most likely any old Goku will do, as long as you can pull the belt right off like this SS Goku can (if you're curious but aren't sure, then just message the seller & ask him if the figure can come apart. if not, then just keep searching, costs $0.00 to ask). Figuarts Saiyan Saga Goku suddenly got a lot cheaper & possible, just gotta be creative :)

@crisis holy **** I actually have that figure TWICE....:horror

But I think I just want a proper release. I dunno. I just don't like customising, I want to buy a legit release, with legit packaging and just have it clean, officially produced.

(And no I'm not selling either of mine I think, despite this.)
