Amiibos are HUGE. It's been a huge pain in the a** trying to get them all. I like them because they're actually really well done mini statues manufactured by Nintendo but scalpers have been having a field day buying and reselling. Sounds familiar [emoji19]

Absolutely love Trunks and the cell saga. No doubt my favorite. I went to NYCC last year and Bandai had a booth set up with a lot of DBZ stuff and I fell in love. When I got home and did research and saw Trunks was going for hundreds, I was instantly heart broken. Really geeked to see teen Gohan being reissued because he's another favorite but I really would want Kid Buu and like everyone else I want a Majin Vegeta [emoji28]

I agree. the Trunks/Android and Cell Sagas are my favorite, too. Have you seen the Figuarts Zero and Figuarts Zero EX Trunks? I'm looking forward to Manga Gohan, too. I have a lot of plans for him in display mode. I actually like the red belt because it represents the Manga but I may paint one to resemble the anime. Not sure though. I know Silrian, I believe, and a few others would really like to get Kid Buu, too. It would work well with Buu Saga normal Vegeta since it sucks that Super Saiyan 3 Goku is so far back so that when Kid Buu is released, it'll be well above $200+.

Speaking of Frieza, there's been reports from Chinese venders from Datong...

"The end of this month will be ssj 3 Goku ,ssj Goku and black hair goku,
then next month is Freeza ,next edition of ssj vegeta , scouter vegeta and SDCC scouter vegeta."

Plus, Tamashii will more than likely release a new transformation Frieza. It may be the best option in regards to displaying because the Namek Saga is lacking a lot.

Frieza used to be 140$ on Amazon a week ago, now he's over 160$. These guys certainly aren't getting any cheaper.

I thought the Ginyu Force would of been cool to fill in the Namak Saga gaps but I guess they weren't popular enough

It's just going to be really nice not having to pay $$$$ for Gohan. It's my favorite version of Gohan, too. I paid quite a bit for SDCC Gohan but now I won't have any problem getting as many as I would like.

I think Captain Ginyu was on the poll from SDCC a few years back that seems to be a checklist that Tamashii has been using. Hopefully he'll appear some day.

Yeah, that would be the best option. It's a good figure for what it is and it will more than likely always keep its value. I'm still having trouble with what to do with him but maybe the new movies will give me some ideas.

Seems like all these figures hold their value lol feels good to be apart of the community though. Slowly building my collection of nerd media

They do and, quite frankly, they don't seem to have a stopping point at the moment. I joined the line around July of last year and paid a lot to catch up. I'm still missing Super Saiyan Vegeta and SDCC Super Saiyan Goku but I'm not going to allow my completest mentality to take over because of how crazy the prices are. Although, if they were different figures and characters, I may have allowed that mentality to take over but luckily I don't care for those specific figures that much.

Ginyu could be a great sculpt. But he'd feel lonely without the rest of the force. I'd prefer Zarbon (first-form) or first-form Frieza. Think we'll see any others from the Ginyu/namek/frieza saga/s?

I hope so. The problem I'm having with Tamashii, at the moment, is that they're not showing any official signs of going back and focusing on previous Sagas. Until Nappa, or anybody PRE-Buu Saga for that matter, is shown/announced, I won't have a problem. Edited: It's not a serious problem since they just had Broly, and arguably Android 16, released but I am very worried and cautious about the future of the line.

I honestly wouldn't mind JUST Captain Ginyu. I mean he was the only real threat out of that Force once Goku showed up and that was only because he had the power to switch bodies. I think Tamashii could do great things with a Captain Ginyu release. Especially if they include a Goku head, a scouter, and a few "evil" faces as accessories.

No that's from the sdcc 2013 Poll. 2014 didn't have one presumably bevause 1) nroly wasthe winner and it took longer to make him and 2) Ang's idea that they might (mostly) make that entire list.

But there's no vegeta on there...

17 and 18 werent on there either, so hopefully it isnt the ONLY source they are using, although a Bardock with extra ssj head would be quite cool imo.

My guess is that those figures are to help "pad out" the line from year to year, hence why we havent heard anything about Buu, Gohan or ssj4 Goku.
