Im not a fan of frieza and if I need two of him it certainly isn't a golden version of the one I already have. Also, I don 't like how gokus new gi turned out i figuarts form. But honestly, how good the film might be, I want the stuff ive wanted for years.

If I'm truly honest, personally, just my pov, I'm bummed out they spend time on this. We coul'de had a majin vegeta and a ssj2 goku with different faces etc. We could've had 1st form frieza (who is in the film!). Like. To me this showcases tamashii catering to japan. Which whatever, I've said my piece on.

Seems in 2013 I bought like 6 dbz figuarts I think. 14 bought 3. This year, it might damn well become 0 if the ex is boring and gohan is postponed to 2016.

What a trailer that was, huh? Everyone was talking about star wars yesterday and I was talking about BvS. The teaser was spot on.

Now with the official release im totally apemt. i got two trailers for my fav franchises and both were brilliant, and everything I hoped for. Though bvs trumps it. One of the best 1st trailers ever. Masterpiece filmmaking. The dialogue, the cinematography, the themes, it's almost too much to handle. It's everything I hoped for in a mos sequel.

I mean GT wasn't the best story wise, but it wasn't as TERRIBLE as people say it was. Point is that if Toriyama wrote it, it wouldn't be NEARLY as hated as it is now. I mostly love GT for the sick designs. I hated the Black Star Dragonball saga, but everything after that was better. I feel the first half of GT was trying to be more Dragonball and then it switched to a more DBZ vibe with Baby and onwards.

I just hope Toriyama can catch his stride and really make something good out of this God Saga. It has a lot of potential, I just wanna see him capitalize on it.

I'm sure they're coming VERY soon. The hair on the new Goku looks almost identical to SSJ2. I'll bet they're gonna reuse that head, paint it yellow and slap it on the Goku body we all know and love. They'll pair it with Majin/Buu Saga Vegeta too. I'm dying for another Vegeta. My most wished for is Majin but I'll take anything I can get. Last Vegeta I got was SDCC and I reluctantly got that one. It's time for a GOOD Vegeta figure.

That is definitely true that people hate it just for that reason, but that's a very small vocal minority. Well, except for Japan. For the most part, people love the idea of the Tuffles coming back for revenge and the idea for the misuse of the Dragon Balls. The whole evil dragons thing sounds like an awesome plot line! The problem is the writing was awful, and personally, I though the designs were terrible. The only design I like is SSJ4, but I hate the colors and the magic clothes power. Heck, if it was gold I would have wanted that to be the SSJ God design! I prefer was no godly ki, and Goku and Vegeta just wished their tails back to fight Beerus! Although, I still like it for what it is. I have to see the movie before judging.

I am shocked that you liked that series because Vegeta is totally trashed throughout it. EVERY character is trashed through out it. Fans complain that Goku did everything in Z unlike the original Dragon Ball, but that's not true at all. DBZ was well balanced, and Goku did pretty much everything in Dragon Ball, but the rest of the characters were well-developed. He is the protagonist, so it made sense. GT made Goku a complete idiot and everyone useless even as a supporting cast. He even took out Cell and Freeza, and rode on a Kienzan disc.

All power was just expository—not showing. Omega Shenron and SSJ4 Gogeta were of the same strength as Nappa. Everything was far weaker just for the sake of whatever thing they came up with. But, hey! At least we got those dancing guys, the pedophile villain, Goku remaining a child even after turning to an adult in SSJ4, the game show hosts, Trunks dressing up as a little girl, and Pan bossing everyone around!

If you like it, then it's totally my loss since I payed for the DVDs. Besides, Broly, Gogeta, and Cooler wouldn't be so popular if people felt that way. Those characters are far more beloved than Yamucha whose been in the series for so long. Until the Cell arc where he at least got some funny lines, he was a lousy character that took up scenes from better characters in my opinion.

Amen to that, man! Heck, I wasn't a fan of Gotenks, SSJ3, and Super Boo, so I am definitely not one of those Toriyama loyalists (Still love him, obviously). He does have his own style to writing though, which no seemed to capture except whoever wrote the History of Bardock, History of Trunks, and Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return! I LOVE the banter with Goku and Vegeta in that last special. It was so funny how they were so competitive that they used their sons against each other. I actually liked that more than Battle of Gods. That last part where they argue about food is one of my all time favorite Dragon Ball moments! It just cracks me up!

By the end of the series, it looked like Vegeta didn't care about competition with Goku at all and just wanted him to enjoy himself. Piccolo says something like Goku hasn't been happy like this in a long time, in reference to going off with Oob. I wonder if it has to do with this whole God arc, and not being able to use own real power or never getting a satisfactory fight. I don't know, but I love Dragon Ball!

I'm curious as to how they're gonna tie in the end of DBZ with all this God stuff. I mean so far, nothing contradicts anything. I hope in the next movie we get to see Teen Trunks and Teen Goten some more.

I ALWAYS enjoy the banter between Goku and Vegeta. I'm hoping one day we get an English dub of all the specials currently in Japanese. I'd love to see Eradicate the Saiyans in English. A Hatchiyack figure would be sick. I wish they would make a separate movie line and a separate GT line. That way it wouldn't take away from DBZ releases and all the canon vs non canon people would come to a peaceful compromise

That Golden Frieza is damn near perfect. Still not a fan of the design but that figure is freaking perfect. That gi is looking awfully red too....Ultimate Gohan in red please?

No, seriously, that's exactly what I've been thinking all day. If I was a retired DBZ fan and someone showed me the images and said they were just some anonymous photoshop edits I'd completely believe it. It's Goku but it just doesn't look like him for some reason. I mean...blue? Sure, it looks cool, but blue? Last time I checked yellow and magenta red don't result in a blue color when mixed. that said, orange would make no sense, but still...a brighter magenta (or the god form itself) would've been so much better. I don't get the ice blue, but a part of me does like it. If anything, it resulted in an interesting figure.

One other thing that's been slightly bothering me (yet exciting me as it presents some interesting custom possibilities)...doesn't his gi look awfully red? Almost as if it were made to match Krillin. I'm pleased with this solely because I wanted at least one gi that looked slightly red and it definitely looks like they will be using the same red plastic used on Krillin, but why did this gi that looks distinctly orange in nearly every image have to be red? Also...have to disagree with the SS2 suggestions, the hair is definitely sharper and infinitely superior to the SS Goku hair sculpt but the bangs are still present. If nothing else this could serve as a good SS head replacement with the right repaint.

I'd love it if they continued the red gi. I've been hoping for this for so long. I just wanted to see the red gi on the normal outfit but's it's good knowing they at least have the paint available . Hopefully Ultimate Gohan has been repainted in this red for the final version although I doubt it...

I have to agree. I get that the new movie is coming out but I could have done without revival of f figuarts. I would have preferred other figures. I'll probably still get these just because I'm a completionist.
Tamshii has my wallet hostage when it comes to DBZ figuarts.

I mean, I think there might be a point when I have to stop. I think about it sometimes. But even if I did I would still buy a few here and there, and I would probably keep a list of the ones I didn't have so I could get them later. I have no self control when it comes to figures.
