S.H. Figuarts may be the closest we'll ever get to Hot Toys detail. There are some releases where they look like they stepped out of the anime similar to how the Hot Toys releases came out of the movies.

You did a great job. I'm horribly at rhyming.

There was a Enterbay dragonball evolution figure of goku and piccolo. But i really wanted them to release bulma with an emma rossum head sculpt.

You could catch her naked on Shameless. I always giggle thinking she's still Bulma but slutty...er.

Yeah, Big Deano did the same thing with Bluefin. We probably won't know anything until the SDCC Exclusive is revealed. I'm going to see what the situation is next weekend because Bluefin is coming back to Chicago. Even if they said they can't comment, any reply is better than no reply.

Is it just me or does the Mexican ex goku lower torso (right above his belt) seem very slim? It's bugging me. Shouldn't it be a little bigger than what it is?

The Goku mold has a slim lower torso. The obi that's been used on all previous releases gives the illusion that the midsection is wider than it really is.

I don't know. It just looks like the torso isn't pushed down all the way to me.

I think it is Ang but this goku mould was sculpted for a broad belt. They've smuggled this in by making this sash a little too broad.

In all honesty this is the cheapest way they couldve done it, and if it didn't come with a very basic expression thet should've just come with normal goku (as I said at the time), I'd consider just forcing me into denial over this release. Paying an exclusive price for a super cheap retool + a new face bugs me even more. Especially considering the chances of a retooled mould for this goku are now like next to nothing.

Basically feels like "forget about your most desired release in a proper way, here's the cheapest retool/paint that you'll ironically have to pay a lot more for."

A belt like Krilin's would be more accurate but it would show the gap between the torso and the pants...
That belt is just a lazy work. It was cheaper to make a wrong belt than a new mold for the torso.

Did you hear that Whedon quit twitter because of all the negative AoU feedback? In his interviews, he seems not all there. The MCU broke him in some fundamental way. He said getting AoU made was a constant battle with Feigi. Apparently Feigi didn't want the Thor cave stuff in the film at all. That was a big point of tension between them. I don't think the Thor stuff worked because it needed expanding upon. It was just enough information to be confusing. If Thor just would have disappeared and then showed up again out of nowhere, his line, "I had a vision" is enough for THIS film. This isn't Infinity War or Ragnarok. That's the place to explore the Waters of Sight. It's a concept which has its place in a Thor movie, not stuffed into an already overburdened Ultron film.
