Holy christ, I get this isn't exactly a very active line, but could you guys at least keep the conversation based on Dragon Ball?

Frankly, those of you complaining sound like legitimate pansies. Stop. Being. Babies. You have 5 releases being unrolled for the next year plus SDCC. I have half the mind to start taking some of your post and putting them on r/cringe.

You are right about that, Angelo. But my point was that no directors in the MCU are really given "freedom". They all have to tow the company line and serve the greater MCU. In film we typically think of the director as the helm of a film, guiding it to greatness or disaster, and my point is that it just really isn't the case in the MCU.

Oh, absolutely. I've had that impression for most of the movies ever since Iron Man 2. There were some though that I felt break the mold but, like you said, all have to tow the company line and serve the great MCU.

If you guys need reference for how bad this can be, look at Iron Man 3. There were so many references to The Avengers, and that really hurt the film.

Don't get me started on that mess. Marvel Studios not allowing Jon Favreau to finish his story was ****ing ********. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and it was one of the ****tiest comic book movies I've seen. Favreau got ****ed harder than anybody after creating one of the best comic book movies. (Iron Man 1)

AoU is 2 hrs 21 min of Avengers references. If anything the Mandarin should have taken Whiplash's spot in IM2 as the villain and Ultron should have been the big bad of IM3. Phase 2 didn't have enough of the Avengers in the solo films. Imo, the winter soldier is the only film which accurately captured a post-Avengers mcu. There wasn't enough glue to hold together Thor2 and IM3 and connect it to AoU. Most of phase 2 felt like filler when it could have been building more on the infinity storyline instead of trying to jam so much into AoU.

Age of Ultron should have felt like an AGE. Release Ultron to help Tony defeat Killian and the Extremis ****plodes in Iron Man 3. Have Ultron gradually appear in the movies and notice how the Avengers are weak. (Maybe even have Ultron catch a glimpse from the Guardians and Thanos.) THEN have Ultron rise up in Avengers. They could have built it so well but, like you mentioned, most of it felt like filler and Whedon had to put so much into one movie. Hopefully they learn from this for Civil War (the official start of Phase 3.)

**** this. I'm done. All you children do anymore is ***** and moan. I don't need this negative ****.

I'm just putting this out there, but threads going off topic is a rule now
Thread Drifting/Steering
Please keep discussions on topic.
And the mods are stricter since a few threads bashed some upcoming figures have had huge action taken (among other things, like the MGS Collectibles thread almost being closed down after troll account attacks), so honestly, it does matter that we go off topic.

And honestly well, I get that maybe you guys aren't comfortable with the other boards and really only post here, but spread out. If you guys are afraid of your opinion being shot down, who the **** cares? That's going to happen regardless. I've had that happen. I didn't care. You won't really know till you try, and being limited to one area or option isn't the best idea. Think about it, would it be good if you stuck to just one action figure line, and didn't experiment? Not saying that the AoU talk is bad. Just putting my thoughts out there.

Well, if you read that in a Vegeta voice, it atleast stays relevant.

Hahaha, Its a ****in forum guys. We can have other conversations bleed into this thread. Its nice to talk Avengers with DBZ fans, crossovers are awesome anyways.

I guess I am one of the few that enjoyed AOU.

I'll keep that in mind.

It's not that at all. I'm on CBR, IGN (the worst), SuperHeroHype, BleedingCool, Batman-News, Latino Review, and Screen Rant talking about it. Figured it would be interesting to get the people that I talk to the most on this website's opinions.

It's all good, FatHotei. There's no negativity. We're all here for Dragon Ball Z. Crossing over into other things usually happens when you have a lot of people interested in the same thing.

I'll keep that in mind.

I mean you guys could make a group or something for that. Who knows? IGN does suck though, I know that much
Actually, no you can't, that's called going off topic.
Basically my point.

I honestly don't think anyone should be flipping out on the people who are pointing out that going off topic is just not good period. If you go off topic on the rest of the forum, you guys will be called out, and far worse. This thread is SO much more tame than the rest of the forum, trust me.

Is that the masterstars piece the son goku figure? I have that! Where'd u get the scouter for this?

I have no idea. I found the picture on the Dragon Ball United Facebook page. I was more curious about the hair. :lol

It looks custom made though.

I wonder if Datong's Super Saiyan Vegeta "2nd Edition" would have improvements over the first one from last year. Last year's problems were loose right arm, loose upper torso, and unpainted foot tip. There's also this little gap on his armor on his lower right side. I wish Datong would improve the new Super Saiyan Vegeta by giving him tight joints like the new Datong SSJ3 Goku, as well as improve the paint a bit :)

This was my thinking at first but I would actually be against a bootleg improving especially if it's more difficult to differentiate between the authentic figure. That's the best thing about the Datong Super Saiyan Vegeta. You can instantly tell it's a bootleg. I would leave the gap in the armor and the boot tips alone and rather the face not be so heavily over painted yellow. The joints being tighter would be very nice, too.
