He looks immaculate in that pic, why on Earth did he do it? Only thing I can think of is that he had two figures. Be careful he doesnt try to use that pic as insurance to say it broke in shipping.

Thats why I'm mad. I'm not a MOC collector, so the small tear wasn't an issue. It looks like he literally threw it in a shipping box and called it good.

Sirlian, by all means, give it your best shot. I'll even let you power up for 2 or 3 episodes ;)

Lol, na, you found out internet commenting's weak spot: caring, lol. If the other person doesn't care there's no reward in replying to 'm lol. Good attitude though, more people should have that.

@FSLAR I have ideas for filler, I saw this movie about superheroes recently.:lol

Please play nice, Freaks, and stay on topic. Thanks. :wave
Sure thing Snoopy, thanks :hi5:

Oh? PM me about that :lol

@Fat yeah dunno why you took FSLAR post so disproportionately.:lol He just doesn't wanna get the thread closed, rightly so, we screw everybody if an off topic discussion closes the thread. It goes both ways, imo people just shouldn't fret so much about stuff. Just scroll past what you don't care about and if someone feels the thread might be in a (Blood you ready for it?) danger zone they might call it. Who knows fslar could be right. This thread has been closed before. That'd be ****ed up.

If you have a problem with the things I said then PM me, otherwise I'm done discussing it here. And everyone else should be as well.

I wonder if the upcoming Dragonball Super will be divided into sagas like DBZ, if so how many will it entail? The "Gods of Destruction" could just be 1 arc, or could it be the entire series? Is Toriyama gonna follow the same formula or do something completely different? So many questions :gah:

I do not wish to see any "regenerating" villains anymore! Cell and Buu are enough lol :) I want truly badass heroes and bad guys that can get really hurt or cannot be truly overcome easily without cheap regenerative healing abilities :) I also hope they'd somehow get to add female heroes as well who can actually fight and not just scream or become Roshi's latest point of perversion :)

@jayrod: It looks like the clear plastic that goes over the figure is not present. That would explain why nothing stayed in place during shipping. If you haven't already, you should take it out for inspection. If it is broken then follow through. Otherwise take the $25 and keep the figure! :devil I know, I'm terrible.

I hope it involves them traveling to the different universes and fighting/training with the gods. They don't ALL have to be bad. Definitely agree on seeing some female villains/heroines. I also wanna see a return of yellow SSJ hair. According to the movie, the yellow hair is gone but I hope they find a way to bring it back perhaps at the end. That's what I'll miss the most from the old DBZ. We'll find out some information soon enough.

I hope they do some more "mature" story-lines.

I commented on this in another forum but Dragon Ball's original audience has grown up and kids these days are used to 'smarter' storylines. Look no further than some popular cartoon like Avatar: The Last Airbender, and even 80's revival cartoons like Masters of the Universe and the Transformers series had more diverse and intellectual plots. Dragon Ball Z's overall plot was paper thin, fighting the next "big bad" until training/power-up gets them past that one.

I'd like to see episodes that devote time to perhaps the secondary characters. Why not give Tien and Yamcha an episode to "catch up" with them? Perhaps a "flashback" episode to the time period when Goku was dead after the Cell games and what led Gohan to slowly focus on studies instead of fighting? All these storylines can encompass an overall "saga" (like the World Tournament episodes prior to the Buu saga) but spend a little downtime with the characters. Perhaps a few stand-alone episodes or 3,4-parters isn't such a bad thing!

I'd love that too. DBZ was a great action and fighting anime but as an anime overall it was very lacking. So many animes today have substance and excellent story lines with great characters and character development. Strictly critiquing DBZ outside of having grown up with it, it is a rather flat and formulaic anime. Like a great action movie, it's just a kickass good time.

I'd love some in depth story with interesting plot points and character development and as you said maturity overall. Seeing as how Toriyama has been shifting more towards comedy, I doubt this is gonna happen unfortunately.
