As Big D pointed out, this Awakened Goku actually does mean a lot for the line. They seem to really be focusing on delivering quality figures in articulation especially and overall sculpt. I feel this is the start of the line going full on standard release. All they have to do is slap "Advanced Coloring" next to a figure and it becomes a re-release with minor paint differences. They could do it for the entire line if they wanted too (a dream I know).

I would love it if they gave the same treatment to all of the Saiyans. For me, I wouldn't mind the non-shaded hair but I would like the rest of the Saiyans to have the same as well. If they do that, they've answered my every prayer to the Tamashii god. I'm calling the next Advanced figure to be SSJ3 Goku. I gotchu RKenshin

Regular release bro so pretty much sold in any S.H figuarts distributor. I usually just want to buy from eBay from ToysintheBox. They have ways doubled box my figures.

No lets stop confusing him for the love of God. Namek Goku is the sdcc exclusive, awakening Goku is the ssj one. We still dont know RkenshinH, anyone or no one could carry the sdcc figure. It depends on who gets hold of it

I've seen the SDCC DBZ figures at cons, including Bad Color Vegeta at one from last weekend. The mark up varies since I saw SDCC Gohan for $70 once, but last weekend Bad Color Vegeta was $200. So I think any distributor could get them like amazon and BigBadToyStore since they have in the past

IS this actually now 100% confirmed? I have missed the source for this if it is... Like are we ACTUALLY getting a fully NORMAL DBZ release again? Cause that means they'll make a TON of those things, that is AWESOME, no worry about securing one.

Interesting to see Tamashii issue this as a "regular" release for the Dragon Ball line for the first time in a number of years. I suppose with the resurgence in Dragon Ball's popularity, they figure it's a good time to "test" the market again. And this is definitely a STRONG release to go with. The main character in one of his most 'definitive' looks from the entire series. Amazing, he looks AWESOME.

I can't wait for awakening Goku. That's my favorite look of him, with my favorite freeza chapter too. I hope they do him in my other favorite look - the yadrat goku. It'll go well with the new color trunks too.

Bit of trivia: just noticed on the ginyu force Burter sports the armoured boottips, while Jeice doesn't. Think the Ginyu's are the first then to show up with those.
