Curious why they haven't released promo pics for Trunks? Maybe he's still in need of some tweaking? Can't imagine what they could really do to him.

:duff

Just to clarify 4 of the releases so far have been web exclusives for Sailor Moon. Though it's interesting that we're finally a regular Figuart release for DBZ after all these years.

I understand SOME releases coming in as Web Exclusives like for characters that maybe wouldn't sell well or just for "special" characters. For Sailor Moon, they did that to the Outers (if anyone doesn't follow the show, they're not part of the main cast, but still integral characters). DBZ went ahead and did it to basically ALL of their figures. Now they've found the loophole around their own policy and will continue to exploit that to give the fans what we want as long they keep making their money. I wouldn't be surprised if they did "Advanced Coloring" for nearly all the figures so far (at least the most popular ones). At the very least, I predict we'll see SSJ3 Goku get one sometime down the line.

Hopefully some hair shading

I actually realized these new figures DO have some shading. It's very faint but it's there. Look closely at the pics and you can see darker areas in the hair. Trunks has it in the middle of his hair line and Vegeta has it in the middle and to the sides. Goku even has it near the middle as well. Now it all makes sense. The shading is so advanced you can barely see it! :lol

Oh damn, you're right. Trunks' roots are showing!

I actually got those to use as Namek Dragon Balls. They're pretty perfect for Figuarts!

Here's some pics I took a while back. The other ones are these which make really good Earth Dragon Balls: Bandai Dragon Ball Chara Strap Part 1 DBZ 7 Pcs Set | eBay

Good point.

Also Blood, or others, is the blue electricity effect release also in september?

Bit of trivia: just noticed on the ginyu force Burter sports the armoured boottips, while Jeice doesn't. Think the Ginyu's are the first then to show up with those.

yes sir.

Hmm I just wanted to give attention to this place since it's a bit weird -> BANDAI S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Gokou Dragonball Super Warrior Awakening Ver Action Figure

That "BandaiOnline" website doesn't look like it's connected officially to Bandai at all. Besides, there's a little "Kurama Shop Hobby Site" name on the upper left corner of the site. I wonder why it's using "BandaiOnline" as its website address. Besides, their Facebook page leads to BigCommerce, seems very strange. Even their YouTube link goes to a YouTube place for BigCommerce.

What do you think?

Personally, I'd stay away from this site. It seems very suspicious. :O

EDIT: Seems like somebody already got scammed by that place before, stay away. Here's the Reddit post about that site -> https://www.reddit.com/r/ActionFigu..._httpwwwbandaionlinecom_a_legit_site_or_scam/

Can I just ask why alot of folks dont seem to think these will be carried normally? Is it fear of missing them or something else? As far as we know nothing has changed in regards ro Bluefin bringing all dbz figuarts to America.

Edit: I removed my comment saying you were correct Krec9, since it actually sounds like you are saying retailers WONT carry them. Did you just mistype or do you know something we dont? [emoji38]

Every figure out of this line has pretty much hit every retailer.
Exactly. This whole idea that we wont get them anymore has me majorly confused, since there has been literally no mention of it. Where are people getting this "info"?

We all know that all figures get the tamashii.jp treatment right? I mean, ssgss Goku, gold Frieza and ult Gohan are on the same page for crying out loud.

I know most hate BBTS in this thread, but I've gotten every figure of the line from them with zero issue. People have anxiety attacks over nothing.

I dont hate them personally, I just feel that, for me at least, there are better alternatives out there. Theres a reason most youtubers have ads for bbts after all [emoji14]

My only issue is bbts gets them by the american release dates which is usually a month or two after initial release. Being Asian myself, I don't have that kinda patience. I want it as soon as possible. Buying them thru nippon yasan may be the best alternative for that matter.

Yeah thats the bluefin import issue, I believe its because Americas shipments are actually a different production run, hence why it takes a month. The difference being that waiting that month usually gets you them cheaper overall, since Bluefin doesnt get them as web exclusives but normal figures. I have no idea how Gokus run will go though, being a possible regular release and all.

They've been pretty good to me over the years, but some stuff they mark up in price for almost no apparent reason. At least with this line, it's always retail and they pack the **** out of the boxes.

Yeah ive always noticed that. Problem for me is that bbts is well known for branding their boxes, and that alerts customs who gladly add duty to it. That and bbts has horrible international rates.

For me, anime island is much cheaper and most of the time can happily mark down the price to avoid customs.
