I've only seen the Trunks figure in person and really kicking myself for not buying it 3 years ago. I don't really mind the repaint. Looks fine to me.

I'm definitely looking forward to it but, like all releases, I probably won't be able to make a final judgement until I have it in hand or in person. I have noticed differences in the jacket and the hair. I'm curious if they're final products or still in development.

Vegeta's elbow joint seemed off though which made me think they're still in development.

Good idea for SSJ4 Goku. He is pretty jacked in that state. Hoping to see the GT line at SDCC (please oh please give us a seperate GT line )

Thought about it and they could probably use that impressive Goku upper body for a Kaioken Goku or even Super Vegeta/Trunks. I'd personally prefer bigger but hey, it's better than using the now skinny looking body Goku has now

They're kinda pricey but they are very intricate and high end model kits. Definitly get em if you're willing to put in the time to make em, they're the best Zoids figures I know of. The parts I showed were for Command Wolf which I'm assuming is the same level of difficulty as Shadow Fox. I'm terrified for the numerous Liger Zeroes I'm eventually gonna have to build since Blade Liger was the hardest model kit I've ever built (I want to display Liger in each of his crazy modes)

Anything to make Super Saiyan 4 Goku look better. The shoulders on Awakening Goku are just perfect for shoulderless attires and I think Super Saiyan 4 Goku would benefit greatly with that mold. I noticed they made his shoulders bigger in the prototype though but the "transition" from shoulder to bicep/tricep is just astonishing on Awakening Goku. I love it. They're like mini-Broly arms. (Goku's shoulders overlap but still nicely transitioned.)

Did you notice the "Super" logo was used with Tamashii? Next to Z and Resurrection F? I'm hoping they'll branch out for releases and get to regular Dragon Ball and definitely GT.

I can see them using that body for Kaioken Goku! I never even thought about that. Yeah, the skinny art is bad. I don't care for that at all. Super Saiyan God Goku just didn't look right too me. Maybe "too" anime, if that makes any sense.

I've noticed the prices are crazy but the models are very impressive. I'm afraid I may not create an end point for them they look so nice...

What extra parts are you thinking about? If you can get the Tamashii product for just as much, you shouldn't have to buy a Datong Trunks release.

I'm going to be the person who buys a lot of Super Saiyan Vegeta and Future Trunks. I know people hate that but I'm going to buy as many as my budget will allow because I have a lot of display ideas and I would like to change out my Datong for official products. (Maybe then I can post pictures without worrying that I'm going to make Prodigy ill. )

The problem with the Super Saiyan Vegeta recolor is that it's no longer Android Saga Super Saiyan Vegeta. Which ****ing sucks in a way because I have an entire Android Saga display in progress and he's the only official one that I don't have!

I know exactly what you mean! The typical skinny anime bodies on teenagers that look like they're 20 years old yet have godly powers. At least DBZ separates itself by giving powerful characters the bodies to match!

It would benefit everyone if they simply separated their lines in DB, DBZ, DBGT, DBS, and I guess movies. It's coming, I have no doubt. Kamen Rider levels are fast approaching...

Exactly! That was my impression when I first saw the transformation at the theaters. It was off setting because I always thought Dragon Ball Z stood out from other animes. (Well, that and the entire transformation requiring other Saiyans.) I'm glad to see, well at least from pictures, that the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan doesn't appear to be anything like that.

I would really like to see Tamashii's 5 year plan.
Super doesn't seem to have any new designs from the get-go so I don't know if they would focus any designs from that show for awhile.
Resurrection F will be done once Beerus and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta is released. (Death to Jaco!)
It's great to see Tamashii go back to Frieza Saga with TWO releases.
Super Saiyan 4 Goku is going to open the door for GT designs. Having Super Saiyan 4 Goku as a regular release would benefit that line greatly since it's the transformation that's used throughout the whole series.
Tamashii is still focusing on Buu Saga, depending on how much after the two absorbed Buu's will be interesting. They better at least have Gotenks, Vegeta, Kid Buu, and hell even Super Buu. (****, I would take Hercule over Jaco at this point.)

It truly would benefit Tamashii to separate those into different "character categories." (I believe that's what they're called.)

It's that he just isn't a character that people know right now, and they would likely rather have a more iconic character like Tien be made instead of this new character nobody has any real attachment to.

I know nothing about him so I've been biased against him from the start. His figure didn't impress me at all because there's nothing to put behind the figure. I may change my mind when I see the film but as of now I don't care for him. His proportions seemed off in the figure though. They had him in a dancing pose and all it reminded me of was a Rave mouse head.

To be fair, I don't know the guy so I can't say I hate him. I will never read Dragon Ball Minus since it contradicts the original origin story (seriously, two different origins that are BOTH canon, wtf). I will also never read his manga since I just don't want to

I'm more mad that he's taking up a spot where ANY other character could be. He's not part of Dragon Ball, I don't care if he's in Super or cameos in RoF. Whis was more deserving, hell even Yamcha is more deserving. That's my stance on the little guy...

I think he'll be Nappa'd for awhile. They haven't shown him since that one time and they may wait for his popularity to increase in Super.
