I see the ebay scalpers are trying their hardest to keep mexiGokus price up by putting up preorders of sdcc Goku at highly inflated prices too. These people are scum, that is all [emoji38]

I think it's important to distinguish here what separates a scalper from someone that just sells their figures for the going rate. Scalpers (these a**holes), try to jack up the price as much as possible from the get-go. The market doesn't even get a chance to determine what the figure should be "valued" at. Even once the figure has started selling for the asking price (some ridiculous number), they then try to jack it up even more using shill bids and the like or just straight up charging more to see if people will still bite. A collector that happens to charge at or just under the going rate (usually a rate established by scalpers) is very different. There is no ill-intent and they simply want to get the most money's worth out of their figure.

I thought it'd be appropriate to clear up the difference between these two types of people. I've seen on other forums where people call you a scalper simply because you won't sell the figure for retail price (duh, who in their right mind would if it's going for more than that). I've never seen such a travesty in this aspect until this MexiGoku came out just in sheer price.

I know prodigy, I myself put up any figures I sell at less than the going rate and let the buyers decide what to bid. Last year I sold my Trunks for $100, much less than the usual, but it doesnt bother me, I paid less to begin with

i am a little sad i have until now 2 gokus: (ssj goku) and goku saga cell/buu

if i buy two goku saga freezer (one to put branjita kaio sama and roshi gi) i will get 4 gokus! and that will be so bad i think <( what do you think?

maybe i just buy 1 goku saga freezer and that´s it : ( i don´t know <( help me on my decision *_*

This rumor has been perpetuated so many times and it is a rather obvious misprint. There are 7 balls shown and magically a 9* ball? Where is the 6* ball, the only one missing in the 7. They simply printed a third row of stars on he 6* ball.

Yeah, we were going over this over at DBF and it's likely just the 6 star ball with an extra row accidentally added. The only ball to be missing and you'd think they'd show ball 8 too. 9 dragon balls would just overcomplicate things and that's lazy as hell creatively. Although if there were 9 stars, it could make for some crazy wishes and could even explain why Frieza was able to revived since that broke the already established wishing rules.

to me its okay how he looks like. i think he don´t need any more change or detail. Some of you say bigger shoulders if i am not rung, but how it looks like, i think is fine! not need any more change. if the surprise on sdcc is the release of ssj4 goku? xD and the upcoming SSj4 Vegeta or S-17? that could be a good surprise. ^^

It because ppl won't even give him a chance.... His manga is awesome..... I really hope he gets released before another Goku... Sorry but were up to 7 Goku's... And 4 of those are getting released this year...(SSJ-reisuuse,SDCC,Awakening,Mexico) plus the Zeros so that's another 2 for this year.
