yup, i did a google translate earlier and that's pretty much what i got too. I'm hoping the 1 face for normal just means that that's the 1 extra, meaning we'll have at least a neutral face and a teeth gritted face for normal mode.

The original Trunks had four faces PER HEAD, so its likely the guy updating the website simply misread the description he had to type. I also noticed they changed his height again to 14cm now [emoji38] Oh tamashii, you just cant get anything right.

Pretty much this yeah, I'm pretty sure there's something wrong here, mistranslation or something. The hands is the only thing I'm wondering...it'd be odd if they were missing that many accessories, though then again, they have been mostly marketing this with the SSJ head sculpt.

I dunno, it seemed like they gave extra accessories to SSJ Vegeta....but I digress. I still have an original Trunks myself with everything that I got a few months back, so I'm prepared for worst comes to worst. Some of the pics hint otherwise after looking at the original Trunks, like how the hand for gripping the sword was paired with the thumbs up, and that martial arts hand in one of the promo pics.

Hm, that would be quite disappointing if true. I'm almost given the impression that Tamashii or Toei doesn't want Trunks to feature a smiling face in any form or a thumbs up hand since that appears to be what will be taken out. (Along with the relaxed hands and the other hand that came next to the thumbs up hand.) That "1 Replacement head part" is pretty important to be left out of the contents as well even though they mentioned the different faces. Hopefully it'll be changed.

Thats the sort of mindset that allows companies to do what they want these days man, you should know that. If the figure was cheaper than the original, fine; if the figure had something unique, fine.

It hasnt though, they are actually charging MORE than the original with half the accessories. That is BS, whether they "had to" reissue them or not.

God knows I have defended tamashii many times, but this is disgusting behaviour.

EDIT: It seems like we may actually have 2 normal faces after all. If you notice, the original says we have three replacement face parts, not four, so its likely it will come with one more on the head itself, hopefully the normal one. Still not great, but at least we arent bound to a gritting face for normal head.

Tamashii doesn't care what we want. They see an opportunity to sell a sought after figure and also an opportunity to save money. They know people will still buy this anyway. The thing is though, one of the reasons I want a Trunks figure is partly because of all the accessories. Tamashii has to know that the accessories are part of the draw, but as I said, they don't care. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them scale back accessories across the board. The premium color Krillin will come with one face and one swappable hand with a middle finger raised up.

I bet that isn't a typo. That is the Trunks we're getting.

Yeah this is one of the reasons I love the Trunks figure so much, he has a ton of accessories and indeed, that is a draw for other people.

I'm not so sure about this Trunks though, I think it's a typo but the only thing is again, we didn't see the other accessories in promo pics unlike the original. Hell, we saw all of Vegeta's accessories but I dunno, maybe it's since Trunks isn't officially up for PO?

It's great that Tamashii decided to give these previous web exclusives "Premium Color" releases but at the cost of selling us short on a few accessories? For the same price? I don't really understand how anybody should be happy about that alone. It's nothing short of acting lazy on Tamashii's part.

Bluefin hasn't put SDCC Goku for sale yet and BBT doesn't have their pre-orders neither.. hmm something tells me that there might be a manufacturing shortgage or that BBTS will be refunding OR that Bandai will be releasing this in Japan and thus the delay we are seeing as production and other factors are being calculated and decided.
