Who releases first, Trunks or Beerus?

I was gonna say the same crisis said. Vegeta never really had a manga version. I believe the only characters that are colored differently between the two mediums are Piccolo, Goku, Gohan, Trunks, and Cell. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think every other character looks the same whether anime or manga.

there's Raditz, but at this rate I doubt we'll ever see him released, not even that Figuarts Zero version :/

edit: another idea i just had is if they had included Raditz on Champa's team. what if in his universe the roles were reversed: it was RADITZ that was sent to earth as a baby & not Goku? another missed opportunity

The OG SSJ Vegeta still sell for quite a lot, between 160-200. With the new one being less appealing, I think it's gonna hold it's value up, same for Trunks of course due to lack of extras.

It may be less appealing to us "seasoned" collectors that have been in the game since the beginning but to the mainstream collector that doesn't have the OG and just wants a Vegeta figure, this figure is a dream come true. If the majority likes the figure and buys it (which I think will be the case), the OG may indeed drop in price, at least temporarily while this one's hot on the market.

@crisis, never knew Raditz looked so different. He's got a Nappaish thing going on. I think if they do release Raditz he'll be anime color since the manga coloring is kind of obscure looking and not well known.

I'd kill for Raditz, he's the first villain and Saiyan we see (outside of Goku of course) AND he's Goku's brother. Also can't forget them thunder thighs of his

As someone who started really collecting figures hard in April, 160-200 is actually decently cheap for SSj Vegeta. It was up over 200 for a bit there.

The only figure still commanding over 200+ regularly is SDCC SSj Goku from 4 years ago.

Well that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it is definitely the only one commanding over $300 regularly.

Hell I've even seen SSj3 Goku dip to below $200!

I'm sure once they get back to the Buu Saga, that's when we'll see SSJ2 along with Buu Saga Vegeta. I still think they're saving Majin for a battle damage version but I'll take anything at this point as long as it's Vegeta in that blue jumpsuit. At least we've got SSJ3 Vegeta to learn ok forward too so it can be a placeholder until the proper one comes out.

Agreed. The engineering for these figures is getting so intricate. On a related note, I never really put too much thought Vegeta's lack of ab crunch. I imagine they'll use the new Trunks as the basis for all future Saiyan armor figures.

I don't see why future characters wouldn't have the same articulation. Except for the remaining reuse able molds every new sculpt will likely be in the new style. We may even see them update the existing Goku and Vegeta molds to this style too since they can reuse those specific molds over and over again for many different characters. They did update SSJ4 Goku's pants when they really didn't have to. I think they're at least trying to deliver more quality figures which is great in and of itself

I don't think anyone expects you to give anything away for free. This community is usually pretty transparent, so we ask each other that kind of thing all the time. No one wants to take advantage of you. I'm a filmmaker, so personally, you're not showing me anything new, but I respect your style and people love your photos, as they should. Embrace the questions in a way that doesn't compromise your art. You told Rabbit that you didn't have time to give him anything but a quick no answer when he asked you to see your set-up, but you have the time to argue with him for multiple pages about the answer? That's my point. If you'd have taken the time in the beginning to fully understand his question and answer him without derision then all of this would have been avoided. Because this is stupid and a waste of time, yes? Yes.

And guys, TJ isn't a regular around here. He doesn't know our community terribly well so let's have a bit of patience.

The international fandom for this series is incredible so i wouldn't be surprised. I learned a but with the Mexico Goku thing because i stated joining those groups to hunt and they are insane about this stuff. I even have a group of hispanic guys at my old gym who would wear that saiyan armor clothing everyday to workout (and saw that same group at the RoF movie) it's awesome. I wish i knew more as to how it got so popular there.

Tamashii does try to connect the releases to other ones before or after it. If PCE ssj3 Goku is indeed coming out and in the style of BoG, then I'd say Whis is indeed quite possible.

I find it fairly unlikely that we'll see ssj4 Goku being dropped after Trunks. But, hey, guessing tamashii releases is all but rolling a dice. I still wonder whether we'll see any of those goku's except Kid Goku, I could eve see him coming after Trunks. Also the Buu's are still possible.

If it's true pce ssj3 Goku and PCE Cell are coming out then I'd say that makes Trunks logical tie to Cell, and SSJ3 Goku will get a logical tie too. Considering we just had a ssj Vegeta, I think Whis is after Trunks.

EDIT: oh yeah of course God Goku is probably coming up.

How could I have forgotten about God Goku! Him, Whis, and SSJ4 are top three candidates for next releases, not counting PC's.

Btw here's a lil pic of some head swaps. Anyone who has a manga Goku should definitely swap the head with the Awakening one. It's soooo much better. Also if you want a pseudo SDCC version, the normal Goku/Gohan body and this head works great.

I've noticed a lot of similarities between the SDCC 11 Goku and Awakening Goku. Beside style hair shading and the faces, the color of the gi's are practically identical. You can't really tell in the pic but I assure everyone the Awakening Goku has the same orange as the SDCC. If they stick with that orange from now on instead of the bright one, it would be the perfect medium between manga and anime accurate. Tbh the more I look at Namek Goku, the less red I want his gi to be.
