Unless his price is absolutely ridiculous like Gringoku, I'll get the SDCC Broly. I have all but the Mexico exclusive Goku for 2 reasons. It's the same exact figure as last year's SDCC Goku and the price is retarted.

I doubt it will be. I mean even if it is a ridiculous price, his retail is going to be around $70 to begin with. I really don't understand why people consider Galeria Exclusive Frieza Saga Goku a separate release and need it to "complete" their collection. Tamashii happened to take 500 (or more) units of Frieza Saga Goku and created a different packaging for it.

Also, that is the fourth color that TruForce has done for X. The original blue, the NYCC Black and the Kickstarter gray one are the first 3.

Yeah, the 4th color and the 3rd repaint. Hopefully they have more to offer after this. The guy who was behind the Kickstarter was a really nice guy so I wish them the best.

The new outfits were kind of growing on me....I like it when series progress and characters update their outfits. Vegeta's was a great upgrade and the only thing I didn't like about Goku's was the Capsule Corp-style boots that were not his style. Did they ever explain the new outfits in DBS? I don't recall them doing it in Resurrection'F.

But I suppose it's back to the original! I almost feel like this is a marketing/merchandising move.

I know they mentioned Vegeta's outfit change, not sure about Goku's though.

It is strange that they are making the ending to Z non-canon...

Is it, though? Retconning it allows them to develop more stories with no limitation.

Oh guess I should've watched last weeks ep huh

Yeah, or they show them in their Battle of Gods attire in the trailer for the 1st Future Trunks Arc episode.

I actually like his GT costume the best as a DBZ follow-up. Blue Gi and yellow-orangish pants that follow like his original costume and he also has his classic shin wraps and shoes from when he was a kid. The only weird thing was the pink wrist-wraps but those are minor.

Off topic here but does anyone know why figma doesnt make any Dragon Ball products? Does toei have a contract with Bandai or just the Dragon ball property?

Tamashii simply has the license for it. Figma would never be able to get to the level figuarts currently has for dragonball. Competition is good, but figma just isnt the company for it.

I wish man. Competition is healthy, and Figma will def give us a Bulma/Videl/Chichi before Tamashii ever would.

Bandai-Namco has a huge Dragon Ball license that covers toys, collectibles and games (namely video games). It's possible they sub-license it out but the license is somewhat similar to Hasbro having the master licenses for Star Wars and Marvel.

They did explain the outfits in Super. I'm pretty sure Bulma made Vegeta's and Chichi made Goku's. If I recall, I believe Whis made a comment about how it was good to see that their wives supported their martial arts lifestyle or something like that.

Bulma made Vegeta's new outfit that's correct, but Whiss (not Chicihi) gave to goku his new outfit: :lol

Not sure if those heights are accurate though since S.H. Figuarts Future Trunks was in the display and pwnstar said they were 1/12th.

Edited: I have to admit, I'm really impressed with that Final Form Frieza.

Just got the new Trunks figure. I really like the sculpt on it. I think I prefer the original torso design like on the OG Vegeta. I miss the detailed paint work around the armor. Additionally, the articulated torso kills the look a bit.

This is probably Figma and Nendoroid Sailor Scouts don't exist, we all know GSC would be all over that series.

Yup. Bandai won't farm it out to direct competitors. They'll only do it with companies they don't directly compete with or have a limited market...like years ago when Irwin and Jakks? made DBZ figures in the USA. And there's special cases like the 12" scale which Bandai had no stake in so they sublet the license to Medicom years ago so they could do some 12" figures.

They're model kits and the first batch which includes Super Saiyan Goku and Final Form Frieza will be coming out July.

July. Niice that's fast . And I'm guessing it's 6" scale right ? I gotta get that space pod

If they are like the star wars bandai model kits they are 1/12 but a little taller than figuarts. Hopefully kid Buu is fine, finally a way to get a decent version of him!

Is there a problem with the Hybrid version besides his overpowering price Deano?

I must claim one of those pods. Speaking of, wheelchair hoover around Frieza looks to be fixed in his chair
