S.H.FiguArts Dragonball Z figures!!!

I steer well clear of the hybrid figures. I had Trunks and adult Gohan from that line and both were badly put together messes, didnt look right design-wise, hands fell apart constantly and both snapped at the neck at the same spot.

So yeah, bad experience [emoji14]

Well, yeah, I mean, they are dirt cheap, what were you expecting? Regardless, some like kid Buu make good stand ins until figuarts makes him.

I think Final Form Frieza will be easy to purchase at retail after he's released so you should be able to see video reviews and photo comparisons to make your decision.

Shonen Jump Calendar says that the "Saiyan spaceship" will be released in October. Not sure if that's the same but I'm going to guess that it is.

If they are like the star wars bandai model kits they are 1/12 but a little taller than figuarts. Hopefully kid Buu is fine, finally a way to get a decent version of him!

All of the prototypes past Super Saiyan Goku and Final Form Frieza still need a lot of work done to them. I'm interested to see how Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and Kid Buu end up looking. Hopefully all of them continue to come with energy effects.

Another collector told me that Dragon Ball Z S.H. Figuarts releases are taking longer to sign-off on because the quality standards have been raised. Does that seem plausible? Maybe going into effect next year?

Seems like they didn't show at all or only showed off a few items like turd-tail Godzilla Monsterarts.

I think the event will be open to public today (4 hours from now) and tomorrow so its most likely they'll show something, they can't have an event like this and come in empty handed

They've shown Godzilla MonsterArts and Sailor Moon Figuarts Zeroes. Nothing Dragon Ball Z related though. Edited: They did make a post that there was going to be some "BIG" news at the event. I don't think that's been revealed yet.

You think so? I imagine the Oozaru wouldn't be that difficult since they've already done King Kong in their MonsterArts line. Although, Tamashii also did a dragon creature for the Kamen Rider line, too.

I think it would be easier for Oozaru though because the biggest question for Shenron is how long do you make it?

i dunno but i think it was perfect as-is

imagine had they did the "build-a-figure" route, where certain characters each come with a piece of Shenron AND a Dragon Ball. Once you've collected them all you assemble it into this

Yeah, build a figure is the way to go. Worked for Marvel Legends, and it would work for Figuarts.
