I really like PC Cell, and I think the bright/vibrant colors makes the figure pop and stand out. It looks more anime/cartoony than the OG Cell. I was hoping the PC would have smaller eyes. That's my only complaint about PC Cell.

I think the eyes are sculpted into the face though, aren't they?

as awesome as this "new" Gohan is... adult Gohan would've been a waaay better reveal, esp with the new articulation. Future Gohan, Saiyaman, Second Coming, whichever. Tell me this wouldn't look 9000x better in articulated form

World Tournament Great Saiyaman Super Saiyan 2 Gohan would have been a great reveal. Not only do I really like that design but it would have been really interesting to see how Tamashii Nations implemented the new articulation for a non-battle damaged clothed figure. The lower half and most of the arms would have been similar to Trunks and Vegeta's but the upper torso and the shoulders have me very interested to see what Tamashii Nations has planned for them using the newer articulation.

Seriously guys, are those of you who "like" Cells colors really not going to complain and at least try and get it fixed to be accurate like Coolers amazing picture?

I will say this now, this will become the new ssj3 laughing stock figure if we dont try to do something about it and I guarantee you will all regret leaving it as it is.

I'd really like that Cell on the right. Like I keep saying, dark freckles make the difference. I just wish they didn't make his irises so goddamn big and I hoped they'd correct that on a PC release... sadly no.

This is getting ridiculous. From the quotations around like as if somebody can't possibly enjoy the paint application to the supposed regret that all collectors will have? Come on, Deano. You're better than that.

If you're having trouble understanding why others enjoy it, complain to Tamashii Nations yourself about the paint application. Don't question or judge other people's opinions.

I remember when ssj3 Goku came out. "It will be fine, they will change him" or "it will do me" was exactly all I heard, and what happened? He came out looking like he was covered in mud and cheeto powder. Do we really want that for what could end up being a literal "perfect" Cell?

I like the color scheme on Cell. It's bright and vibrant but I'm not sure if this is either manga or anime accurate. The OG Cell looks kinda muddy. Either way, I'm buying this

Premium Color releases were never labeled or promised as Anime Accurate representations. The entire purpose of Premium Color releases is to provide collectors that missed out on the original release with an alternative. One thing that Tamashii Nations is certainly doing with the Premium Color releases is applying a vibrant paint application to differ from the original release. Perfect Cell falls under the vibrant paint application that the Premium Colors provide. If Tamashii Nations states that this is meant to be Anime Accurate, then I would agree with Cooler's color touch up and be the first to Tweet it to Tamashii Nations.

Super Saiyan 3 Goku prototype to final product was a drastic change in paint application and was meant to accurately represent his appearance in the anime. At the moment, Premium Color Perfect Cell isn't.

I understand the outrage that a few collectors have on wishing that Tamashii Nations had the opportunity to provide collectors with a true Anime Accurate Perfect Cell and didn't capitalize on it but there was no foundation or promise that Tamashii Nations had to uphold in that regard.

I don't think Perfect Cell will receive the same luxury that Super Saiyan Vegeta received. I am hoping for a Semi-Perfect Cell to pair with Super (Saiyan) Vegeta.

Take the initiative and contact Tamashii Nations through Social Media. They post on Instagram and state from time-to-time that they want to see collector's comment on the product. If you want a change, that is the place to start. Another option is to have somebody get a hold of Adam Newman at SDCC in a few weeks and bring these opinions/concerns to his attention.

I think Super Saiyan Son Gohan and Perfect Cell are both in prototype stages. Gohan still needs some things done to his ankles and possibly his knee. Cell's face purple is very different from the waist, elbows, shoulders, and knees so this may also be an early stage prototype for the paint application and they haven't changed the face yet.

@Ang No, true, they don't promise that. But straying so far away from the thing the majority of consumers care about is questionable when not designated as a variant. It's rather falsely hope-inducing (yet again tamashii), especially when the other two PCE's didn't stray this far by a long shot. Both could even be argued as improvements. This is variant, straight up. Great for everyone who likes it, but this is something that nearly nobody asked for. No they didn't promise anything, nor do they owe us anything. Doesn't make it any less stupid to not give the majority of consumers what they were hoping for, based on a precedent by tamashii themselves.

Tamashii remains completely unpredictable, even in consumer friendlyness. You get two pce's for highly wanted figures, both great and well within the lines of arguable coloring etc. And then they throw this thing out. It's dumb and disappointing, simple as that. Everyone who happens to like it is just lucky.
