Xeno Trunks and Time Patroller were just added to BBTS $50 with May release.

They're $44.99 at MHToyshop.

I kind of see these two being shelf-warmers, unfortunately they just don't carry the popularity of the other releases and this is also not one of the more popular incarnations of Trunks. But I don't blame Bandai for trying to capitalize on the Xenoverse sales and popularity much like they did with Resurrection' F. Definitely makes sense.

I have no connection with this Time Patroller character* and the design seems kinda blah to me (i have yet to play the Xenoverse games, or any new game in general. i barely play anything these days, i'm a grumpy old school gamer that prefers 2D platformers/sidescrollers and blocky ps1-era graphics lol). I wish it was Future Gohan instead, honestly. Woulda made for some great displays with him vs #17 & #18

*and i recall people complaining about Broly being made, how "canon" characters should come first before any movie character. this guy is even more far removed than any of the movie villains, so the "canon characters only" argument is now moot i guess

Although "canon" is a tricky subject, as I've read here n there how Toriyama had a hand in Xenoverse's creation, or gave it his blessing or contributed story ideas blah blah whatever. I dunno if any of that is true or false, but i can see how some people consider his involvement "canon enough," so to speak? Same thing with that Dragon Ball Heroes game, which was viewed as canon for the same reasons but was subsequently retconned into Xenoverse instead, or something like that. Whereas others only consider the manga, the true source material, canon and anything else is just filler. I dunno. I been out of the loop for a while now lol

The main thing with the Time Patroller is that design, there's not really to it. Xeno Trunks has some popularity due to the Xenoverse series being pretty solid, I really do want him since I might put him in my video game display alongside Arkham series Batman. Time Patroller will be a shelf warmer, but will be great for customs I feel. There's nothing to the character, or maybe even design, that will draw in people outside of dedicated fans.

And crisis, Xenoverse is fun. Flawed, but solid and it's very cheap. Don't be one of those hipster old skool gaemers, go play a modern title! Become one with today

It's merely Tamashii trying to use the Xenoverse game as an added "bump" to sell figures, much like toy companies in the USA do all the time in timing toy releases with movie releases.

Xenoverse is a lot of fun, but it's a grind-fest and does get repetitive, which is why people are critical of Japanese games today...but in terms of a DBZ fighting game, it's one of the best.

I love that you can actually maintain SSJ now.

bah, boulderdash! only game i'll ever consider is a full HD remake of DBZ Legends, with hand-drawn (let me repeat, HAND DRAWN, ex. marvel vs capcom or extreme butoden for 3DS) high-res 2D sprites on redone 3D backgrounds, rebalanced gameplay, anime cutscenes with the option of english or japanese dub! original animation, none of this new age super clean Kai nonsense these days!! j/k.. kinda






to be fair it seems, from some videos i have seen, that Xenoverse is a quasi-evolution, or spiritual sequel, to Legends, which seems interesting. however, i am still biased -_-

on the topic of future gohan figuarts, i have no doubt theyll get to him one day, i got some sweet display ideas for him too.

I kind of feel like the tenkaichi series was more of the start of a next gen legends. But yeah legends is one of my favorite dbz games that and super butouden 1 on snes. Newer ones would have to be budokai 3 and tenkaichi 3 and i have a soft spot for budokai 1 haha

i would keep it till we get an official announcement at the least prod :O and the going rate for it is ridiculous, i've seen it for a couple hundred to a thousand Lol although i havent checked actual sold listings for it. I would say youre better off keeping it unless you really need some nice fast cash.

Not counting on removability by design, I just wanna know if it's bare under that cape at the shoulders, like Android 18 under the jacket or somehow good enough to display by breaking the cape off. I doubt that too though.

I remember downloading the rom to that game on my snes emulator back in the day. like during the Windows 95/98 era. when many of yous were still only just 2 hours old at that time couldn't figure out how to play it actually
i remember when DBZ Hyper Dimension came out & was all the rage lol

I finally ordered Whis and he is currently on the Nimbus Cloud towards my house. i have no idea how i'm gonna pose him

Yeah don't get me wrong, Xenoverse is very good, but it is very flawed. Getting SSJ through that Goku Parallel Quest was one of the worst things in any game. The RNG and drop rate for stuff is annoying, and I do really dislike how the game skipped certain sagas or events. I get that it was for a sequel hook (though whether or not Xenoverse 2 tackles the untouched Z stories is another thing...) but it's annoying. But I really do like it, I feel like I'm truly fighting alongside the Saiyans and like the concept.

I'll take him! Please if he's a reasonable price. Going rate is whatever you want at this point to be honest. I would keep him..just to make even more funds on it.
