Nice reviews Deano! Hopefully Tamashii does the smart thing and gives us a DBZ Future Trunks 2.0. They basically have all the parts for it now aside from remodeling the chest!

I'd be curious to see how well these figures do. Trunks will likely sell decent as he's a different version of a popular character but I'm wondering on Ace. I think Tamashii missed the mark on hitting the release during the XENOVERSE 2 peak. I really don't foresee them doing overly well...I'm only getting them mostly for Trunks and completist purposes (though the Ace figure does look solid).

The trouble also is that Tamashii in my opinion is taking the WRONG step outside of DB Canon. I understand capitalizing on the game, but fans have been clamoring for characters from the DB movies and such that could probably make better sales, as well as other secondary mainstream canon characters like Tien and Yamcha.

If these guys DON'T do well. It can hurt chances for more movie-related, non-canon characters in the near term.

Female Broly is coming...

I think they shouldn't have tried to pseudo canonize Broly. Should've stuck with giving us a proper female Saiyan without giving us a weird roided out version.

We are getting a normal female saiyan, Toei have thrown a curveball and the female in that pic isnt fembroly. Her name is Caulifla, the fembroly is called Kale. Caulifla will likely become a regular ssj while Kale can go into a berserk state (lssj), but supposedly when she controls it, slims back down but keeps the green hair.

Episode 92s synopsis states something will go wrong and one member will have to drop out in Uni 7, likely Buu or Roshi lets be honest, but a synopsis for episode 93 states Goku will go to Hell and recruit Frieza of all people!

Trunks is a great seller for Tamashii Nations and a lot of people were interested in him at the Tamashii Nations World Tour Event last week so he'll sell well. The Time Patroller is an unusual design but the perfect paired release for Xenoverse Future Trunks. Releases that have some sort of connection will sell well, especially if one of them is normally a great seller on their own.

Toei is giving us a proper female Saiyan along with another female Saiyan who was born with the Legendary Super Saiyan ability. Canon is a huge issue in regards to Super since it's basically an outline by Toriyama and Toei and the Manga writer/artist having their own interpretations of the outline.

Deano beat me to it. I made the mistake of thinking Caulifla was the Legendary Super Saiyan but it was actually the female Saiyan Kale they showed in last night's episode.

Well since we figured out Tamashii's "Dragon Ball Pairs" figure model, the Time Patroller is a natural pairing with Xeno-Trunks so I'm not arguing that it doesn't "make sense"..I'm just concerned that potential lack-of-sales (or not reaching expected profits) for a rather "unknown" character might dissuade Bandai from trying non-canon Dragon Ball stuff again. I hope it doesn't even affect a potential SSJ4 Goku!!!

But if they do continue on this track, I'd actually like to see Xeno-Goku from the Dragon Ball Heroes card game...I dig the design and its very much influenced by the fan art redesign that we saw a while back.

Yeah, thats a great design for him Bardoon, definite want. In terms of more xenoverse figures, hopefully the "masked saiyan" aka Bardock in cool new armor with ssj and ssj3 is on their list, at least that way we get a Bardock

Tamashii Nations asks in their surveys if people have ever played Dragon Ball Heroes so if there's enough interest it's certainly a new door for them to open for the collectors.

god i hope that isn't true. why not just hop between timelines again and recruit Future Trunks instead? that makes more sense.

@Big D wow that's a twist I didn't see coming, although I assumed something was gonna happen regarding the teams. Also interesting so Coliflower isn't FemBro. That's nice I hope she's somewhat of a real character then.

Edit: @ crisis yeah it's stupid anyway the most powerful people are all from earth. Pretty sure New Namek at the least has people stronger than roshi. But whatever. They did say U7 avarage power level was lowest second only to U6 iirc.:shrug:
Granted they do expect to have to operate as a team of sorts so knowing each other is significant factor. Whatever, lol.

Well, unless the scans are also fake the episode 92 and 93 synopsis I posted are now confirmed, don't know how I feel about that. They should have brought back a certain perfect being instead this time.
