I thought that as well, but it says the estimated date is in June... SDCC isn't until late July.

Like I've said, i've been burned by pre-orders on ebay before, especially when the release dates are so far out. I can't recall how long the time period is, but after a certain amount of time you can no longer file complaints on un-delivered items. It happened to me 3 times, luckily none of them were for anything really expensive.

I think he meant that it would be cool to have one of the currently released 2.0's as a repaint for an sdcc exclusive (ie SWA goku, Super vegeta, armored trunks, ssj2 gohan etc) lol but it does seem highly likely it will be kaioken goku, although i wouldnt mind maybe a repaint of SWA goku or if they do something with trunks or vegeta.

Also i didnt notice the whole SWA goku being an alternative for a namek goku, would be cool if they retooled it to make a kaioken x3 saiyan saga goku. Also, based on a few reviews of the kaioken goku, kind of sad the forward screaming face didnt come out as good as it looks in the promo pics. In the promo it looks very accurate to some scenes in the early anime, but actual product just looks pretty much like the old screaming face but looking forward instead of the side.

also not sure on whether or not i want to use my extra SSB goku in conjunction with my extra ultimate gohan to make a DBS ssb goku or repaint the SSB goku head yellow to make an MSSJ figure, what do you guys think?

Other than Super Warrior Awakening Goku, who would really only need different colored lines on his boots, none of the other 2.0 releases could use any sort of repaint that would be aimed towards the Western Market/anime accurate.

Hi guys, I'm a long time lurker and even though I had account I never presented myself...I never felt the need to intervene during the thread...

But something jumped at me when I read the thread. Someone said that The Xenoverse Trunks head was not compatible with the Saiyan Armor Trunks peg because one is larger than the other.


I don't know if someone ACTUALLY tried to do it, but I did, without doing any kind of customisation and I have no problem swapping the two faces...

Thats actually one of the first things I planned to do when I get my Xeno Trunks... I like the long hair look with the long jacket. Glad to know it works. Unfortunately HLJ is taking their sweet ass time shipping it to me.

I think we'll eventually see 2.0 molds as SDCC Exclusives but maybe not for the next year or two.

Kaioken Goku is something we theorized about a few years ago and I'm sure Tamashii wants to stretch the longevity of their original Goku mold so we could see it being used again. They could do Angel Goku or GT Goku and easily use most of the same pieces.

I'd be interested in seeing if Tamashii does something different like the custom suited Goku or characters in civilian clothes. Hasbro was notorious for using old parts from different G.I. Joe figures, putting them together, and calling it a new character (dubbed a "Frankenstein" cause it cobbled together older molds). Tamashii can do the same with minor changes.

I feel like releases from Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans would be perfect. SSJ Goku 2.0, SSJ Gohan 2.0 (with depowered, SSJ1, & SSJ2 heads), Piccolo 2.0, Frieza 2.0, Super Vegeta re-release, short haired Saiyan Armor Trunks, Cooler, Turles, Lord Slug, and Hatchiyack. It knocks out 4 updates, a re-release, 5 movie figures, it's perfect. And while the Gohan would just be another Cell Saga Gohan, they could SDCC/PCE it to be from Bojack and make a Bojack, then boom 2 more movie figures.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and especially using photos. So the head and faces are indeed compatible with one another? That's huge news to have confirmed by another member of the forum.

Seems a bit too small which makes sense if it was meant to be used on a 2.0 Future Trunks body.

One question about the Time Patroller, has anyone tried to get rid of the cape?

Its glued on and tabbed in, so not possible im afraid. As for swapping heads im not too sure you can. I can see the pics, but looking at mine (came today) you would be forcing the head onto the armor trunks peg, widening the hole and making it far too loose for the xeno body. I wouldnt recommend it unfortunately.

As for the faces, the peg layout is totally different so not possible either.

Mmh...About that, I had no problem with that, I was actually afraid that it would happen...but it didn't.
But you're right about the peg from the Xenoverse Trunks being smaller than the Saiyan Armor Trunks.
I might plan to buy another Xenoverse Trunks just in case.

As for the Time Patroller....I saw a pic of someone getting rid of the cape, and you're right, that thing is glued and what you have under it prevents you from having a true CC Future Trunks >.>

I didn't plan to have a V2 CC Future Trunks so I don't care, but I'll add a clothed cape to the Time Patroller because that plastic thing is just ugly in my opinion.

So, I suppose that means that even the neck of the CC Jacket was with the cape?
I wonder if Tamashii Nations thought of that and decided to glue that damn thing when it was probably not needed.
In doing so they just totally ruined the sculpt underneath the cape.

Anyway, I'll get rid of the plastic cape part and I'll put some clothes there anyway.
