Yeah I got it! Thanks! I was trying to figure if you mean in the Kai outfit, but saw on google that people refer to that form as Mystic as well, so whether on not people call him Ultimate or Mystic, that's what we're going for. I know I'm voting for him, I just have to figure out my order.

Uhm yeah people, just having someone tally all the listed top 5's seems kinda shady to me. No disrespect meant to those who want to tally, but a computerised polls seems way more secure to me. But I don't think that's possible on this board, is it?

If more than one person is willing to put in the work of actually noting down who has voted and tallying all results and then compare those results to see if someone botched it, that'd be good I guess... (I'm very much PRO a point system where nr 1 pick gets 5 points, 2 4 etc. Or something alike.)

I'd already stated on the other board that the main flaw of the poll on the other site is it doesn't distinguish between level of desire. Many people might e.g. want Bardock, but that doesn't mean the same amount of people want him OVER something else. Hence I'm pro an awarding-points-system, it's more nuanced.

Maybe it's a good possibility to create a separate Sideshow thread for this, and we perhaps ask a mod to keep it clear from spamming etc and just have everybody list their votes once? I'm still new to the board, fairly, so, this is just a suggestion.

Sounds like a good compromise, I just dont want inflated polls for this, otherwise its useless (lets face it, some folks will just do what they did on proboards and vote for minor chracters)

I was going to copy and paste the results, and people can check past results. That's a great idea, but I was just trying to help.

Like I said, I just thought it might help, and hopefully fun. I wouldn't try to do anything "shady" or anything! Believe me, I know I'm prone to error, but I would not purposely try to. That's why I will let you guys see the points.

No worries Bane! I wouldn't even trust myself handling all these votes. The nice thing about a computerised poll is that teh results are beyond reproach.

However, I think a point system in addition to tallying unique votes per character would inform much more. For example, every first pick gives 5 points, every 2nd 4 and so forth.

Say Kid Buu got 20 unique votes, but many of those placed him first or 2nd. His point avarage would be high. Say if Android 16 got the same amount of unique votes, but most placed him fourth or fith, in point average, he'd still be below Kid Buu. Which is correct, because clearly the desire for Buu would be higher.

I think this'd be way more informative. Especially because we could also identify characters who MANY people want, yet hardly anyone wants desperately (I suspect a character like Bardock to end up there), as well as characters perhaps not popular in droves, but to some very important (like uh... whatever... Bubbles...).

This method does entail a lot more calculative hassle but it's genuinely more informative imo.

I don't mind you tallying all the votes. May I suggest adding commas to the running tallies though? (instead of 5 5 for kid buu, it could be 5, 5) This makes it easier to read,

Oh I don't know if you saw, but that's what I was suggesting a few pages back, and that's what those numbers were, next to them.
