Quite surprised Trunks has been left for dust; oh well, maybe someday. Its was a fair vote so I dont mind.

Trunks isn't in the top 3 favourite characters and he already has his most iconic appearance I think, so, I can see how quite a few people would rather vote at least one of the current top 3.

Thats kinda also what makes the poll less interesting imo, because I for one have already arrived at the conclusion that there's just no sense in not releasing this top 3 at some point, so all this poll can now do is make 'm release those faster. Once Buu has had their main icons like the other saga, a poll will become much more interesting, because all those who voted vegeta/gohan/buu will then have to spread their votes over other characters.

Thats true but the point of this poll also is tamashii doesnt know what to do after reg goku, its up in the air after so this poll were doing if they really take it into acct will also help

Hmhm, yeah no, clearly I support the poll! I actually think the whole situation only makes the chance higher of having any influence. Just, from a curiosity pov, I'm not that interested in the top 3 anymore because I pretty much see it as locked. I'm more interested in for example if 18 will stay in the top 5.

Btw, ctrl-f (or cmd-f in my case) makes tallying quite easy. I just use e.g. 'brol' for different spellings of his name to catch all votes etc. But I assume most if not everyone already thought of this. Tallying shouldn't be that much effort.

With this poll in particular, I think that(with enough total votes) some Tamashii representative is going to look at this and not only see the votes that show up the most, but also the variety in choices as something to go off of in terms of future releases. Yes, we can all agree that the Buu Saga's "Big 3" will come to fruition, so to speak.

Should they revisit the Saiyan Saga however, I wholeheartedly believe Gohan is a must. He spends the majority of the series growing up as a child. Of course, one of the earliest releases was the all-in-one Cell Games Gohan(and the SDCC re-release), but there's no denying that's just a single iconic Gohan.

My harping aside, I just really want my idea to come out... Saiyan/Namek saga Gohan two-pack, from the Nappa Fight and also from duking it out with Frieza on Namek... two hair pieces... spiky/long and the bowlcut, and two outfits, the Piccolo clothes(which he wears in the Namek saga!) and the Saiyan Armor. You can even put bowlcut head on Piccolo clothes! Needless to say, I'd throw money at the screen should I even see gray prototypes of this

To me Gohans more iconic look was always the android saga version, before he went into the time chamber; always liked the long hair with black and white shoes instead of his piccolo shoes.

Theres no denying his namek and saiyan versions are great too, but he is much smaller then and would definitely need a two pack to compensate.

But I don't want to keep them behind glass, because I don't really enjoy them that way. I like it out in the open, especially with these prices, I won't be able to appreciate the level of articulation.

Forgot to post my response to this, but I'm also of two minds whether to have them behind glass or not. There's an aspect of 'm that doesn't fully translate behind glass for some reason. The reason I actually did put 'm back in my case is because the lighting is better and I love really direct focussed lighting on these. The colours almost light up, which is reminiscent of them being powered up imo.

Also, a Saiyan/Namek two pack of Gohan and Krillin (retooled) would actually be kinda cool imo. Regarding the poll I do think the variety is something that does represent the fanbase (in the west at least). Per community the order of favorites can change, but all in all the western fanbase seems to appreciate variety more than the Japanese (of which I'm quite surprised tbh), so that sign alone would probably be positive to give them indeed.

If its a normal glass case I wouldnt put them in, but a detolf case is so easy to open and has barely any parts that arent glass theres not much reason not to; it protects your figure from falls and dust, and looks better too imo.

Well, I put Saiyan/Namek saga Gohan in my essential list, because there isn't a figure we have that can be used to represent that era. You could fudge the Saiyan Saga Vegeta for Namek, and the Upcoming Goku and Krillin for all orange gi looks, but not the Saiyan saga Gohan. I would use him with Krillin for Namek displays as well, assuming the bowl hair cut is included.

What! No one wants Icarus? I'm just kidding. Although, I feel like I'm the only one that loves Icarus or at least that scene in Lord Slug. When I first watched the movie, I saw that was the most hated, so I kept trying to see what was so awful about the end, I didn't even think about people hating the first part, because I loved it so much. Then again, I saw most people's favorites were The Legendary Super Saiyan, Fusion Reborn, Wrath of the Dragon, and the Revenge of Cooler, none of which were my favorites, so I guess it's just different strokes!

Well your display looks great Silrian!

For some reason when they're in a cabinet, I just see a cabinet with stuff in it, but when it's out in the open, the individual objects capture my attention. And then when I go up to the actual object, it's like, "Here's something to look at" vs "Here's something to enjoy". Even though it's just a glass screen between me and the outdoors, it makes a huge difference without any barriers!

With that gushing excitement aside, I think Gohan played a huge role in the Namek/Frieza saga before Goku's masterful appearance... Android saga Gohan is cool as well, but a kid two-pack would make my day. It was a growing, braver Gohan that I recognize. When I was a kid, Budokai was THE DBZ game for me and it really added to my attachment issues with Gohan lol.

On SSJ Vegeta, Gohan and Trunks, anyone believe they will be re-issued? I've seen how SSJ Goku was re-issued recently (which is how I got him, from Toys R Us) and that his price is really low. Also, was Goku's price ever really high?

I believe SSJ Vegeta will be released next year. I don't know about the others. Goku was around $100 early this year. I just discovered the line this year, so it could have been higher!

Dahell, you found ssj Goku at Toys r Us!? And yeah Ive seen people who definitely paid aftermarket vegeta money on Goku, only to see him get rereleased a few months later.

I still suspect a ssj Vegeta reissue, but I'm not willing to bet on it being next year. Gohan might be next year. Though it's tricky to say what they'll do if they do intend to release Majin Vegeta.

Yeah, they've been at Toys R Us for awhile now. I remember when they had Gohan and Trunks.

I forgot about the whole next release is up in the air thing! I completely went back to thinking the next releases were the Androids and Nappa. It wouldn't make sense to release two SSJ Vegeta figures in the same year. Especially at these prices, I think you would want to hold off for a while, to get people hungry for another release. Then again, if I got the Majin/Buu Saga look for Vegeta, I'd skip out on the re-release. If they put the re-release first, then I would buy both, because I would want to make sure I had a SSJ Vegeta in my collection, in case something happened, and then if Majin Vegeta came out, I'd still want him. A lot of people have a definitive look for a character. Mattel and DC Direct knew what they were doing giving me various Batman's each with their pluses and negatives. If they went and made that perfect Batman, I'd be free!

I ordered him from there. Haven't seen him in person beyond conventions. I ordered Saiyan Saga Vegeta from there too, though one of his shoulder pads was sent partly dislodged. I saw once that they had Cell and Trunks for ordering, though they no longer do which is a real shame.

Reissues on expensive figures worry me honestly, otherwise I'd probably buy some of them.
