I ordered him from there. Haven't seen him in person beyond conventions. I ordered Saiyan Saga Vegeta from there too, though one of his shoulder pads was sent partly dislodged. I saw once that they had Cell and Trunks for ordering, though they no longer do which is a real shame.

Reissues on expensive figures worry me honestly, otherwise I'd probably buy some of them.

The partial dislodgment of one of his shoulder pads is NOT uncommon. I got mine on the first release date and mine was like that too

On SSJ Vegeta, Gohan and Trunks, anyone believe they will be re-issued? I've seen how SSJ Goku was re-issued recently (which is how I got him, from Toys R Us) and that his price is really low. Also, was Goku's price ever really high?

YEs his price was high at one point. When i first started collecting last december i didnt know what sdcc was and they both ran for the same price. Original goku was at about 145 and sdcc around the same price. Luckily i choose the sdcc because it looked better. I did not know that it would never be re issued again. They both later climbed up to 180.

You guys, that's not a tough issue! The shoulder pads are designed to be detachable in the event that Veggie falls or something. They work kinda like the hip joints on the figures... just push down on the area closest to the shoulder and it pops back in tight. They're connected by ball-joints.

Hey guys, I am a DBZ fan, and just found out about this line. Anyone know where I can get Piccolo and Gohan(my 2 fav characters) without having to break the bank?

Lots of stores still selling the recently released SDCC exclusive Piccolo at somewhat reasonable prices (~$60). If you was the original Piccolo, it's probably going to cost you more. Not sure about where you can get Gohan at a reasonable price.

SDCC Piccolo may be cheaper than the other version, but Gohan has been out in both versions for a while.

Best bet is just to keep checking ebay or mandarake, all other stores have been out of stock for a long time.

:gah:I didn't even know Piccolo was released again. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, the new piccolo is anime coloured, with pink muscles instead of yellow, a blue belt and overall darker more shaded colour scheme.

Buy the Piccolo ASAP! There's only one look for Piccolo and he's a main character, so you definitely will not want to pass on him. It's a fantastic line!

Oh wow, I didn't know about that with Vegeta's shoulder pads. Thanks a bunch PilotTails. SDCC Piccolo is indeed cheaper than the original colors though. However, SDCC Piccolo is raising in price already. Heed what Bane said honestly.

^ Jep, buy sdcc piccolo now while you can. Am I still the only one who bought two(and sold manga ver)?

Btw, just got Frieza in, pretty fast. i'll post my thoughts and pictures later.

Probably lol. I'd buy SDCC Goku if I could though, his colors are much better and more noticable than SDCC Gohan and Piccolo. That and along with both Gohans and manga Piccolo, it'd be great for completion purposes and all.

I'd say non SDCC Piccolos are starting to show up at affordable prices(used) on eBay!
As for Gohan, he's gonna be a quest. Just keep checking eBay,Mandarake and other sites. He should pop-up sometime for affordable prices.
The key to bargain prices is to be ever vigilant! I once went to Midtown Comics in Manhattan and found SS3 Goku on sale for 40 bucks! There were plenty of him too!

Edit: Frieza's a wonderful yet bittersweet release for me, Silrian. He has a nice, 'newer' Figuarts body and comes with effects, but the only one I really like is the rock pedestal, an excellent choice. His yelling face looks a bit off to me and I can't help but realize I paid 50 for a figure EVEN SMALLER than Trunks. I do love the several feet attachments, as it means he can pose kicking with his arms folded and blocking punches, which makes display choices amazing.

Great pic Silrian! I'm glad you like him. I'm the same way with period displays. I don't want two Vegeta or Goku figures next to eachother. Once we get post time chamber Trunks, he's going to have to hang out on his own until we get someone to go with him. You were smart getting two Piccolo figures, because he can go with everyone at any period, without the need of fudging, like I have to do with the Saiyan Saga Vegeta to be with Frieza.

Ive never really cared about having more than one of a character displayed, as long as its a different version of said character, like one with ssj hair, different armor etc.

Thanks for all the info guys. I will begin the hunt. I did find a Super Saiyan Goku from Toys R' Us for a very good price. Piccolo was always my favorite character. Maybe it was the cape. I was so excited for those brief moments in the cartoon when he became the strongest character, or on par with the Saiyans. If anyone decides to sell some, hit me up!

Some stores say october, some november, hard to say. I won't be getting Krillin (anytime soon). Kinda made myself choose between him and Frieza and the latter won, being more essential for me.

I really don't need cell saga krillin until I know we're getting tien & yamcha too and even then I have my doubts about all of them. He just doesn't fit in any of my two displays tbh. So, yeah, ownedcount +1 I guess.
